A mapping feature helps your robot navigate around rooms while an obstacle avoidance feature will stop it from hitting wires, furniture, or even stray pet toys. These are essential features for my home, which is filled with toys scattered around.

1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra

Roborock S8 Pro Ultra, the company's flagship vacuum and mop, is loaded with features. It can sweep and mop simultaneously, and even raise its mop pads or brushes to ensure that soft surfaces don't get wet. It can also see and avoid obstacles, thanks to the ability to identify pet toys plants, a variety of small objects.

The robot vacuum has a maximum suction power of 6,000 pascals which is higher than any other robot vacuum we've tested. It is also equipped with PreciSense LiDAR Navigation that tracks its location, preventing it from becoming stuck on objects.

The S8 Pro Ultra's mopping capabilities are also impressive. It can continuously apply pressure to the pad that is over 6 Newtons for a thorough clean. It also has an automatic mop lifting mechanism, which lifts the pad when it transitions from tile to laminate or hardwood to carpet and rugs to avoid getting soaked by these soft surfaces.

Additionally it is also the S8 Pro Ultra has self-washing and self-drying features. The pad can be rinsing and heat-drying within the dock. The dust bin will automatically empty before returning to the dock. You can set it to forget about it. You will only need to refill the water tank or change the dust bag every now and then.

All of this is powered by a lithium-ion 5,200mAh battery. I ran it on its normal vac and mop settings for about 160 minutes before the S8 Pro Ultra started to run low on power and returned to its base for a recharge. This isn't far off from the 180-minute time that Roborock claims, and is on the same level with other hybrids I've tested.

This is a highly complete and robust product, with the only drawback being that it's costly. The sheer amount of features make it a great choice for anyone looking to replace their old mops and stick vacuums. If you can afford the hefty price tag we recommend you check this one out.

2. Dreametech L10S Ultra

The Dreametech L10S Ultra robot vacuum and mop is an expensive combination. Its high-end price is justified by its impressive feature set, which includes a large vacuuming capacity and two gyrating mops. It comes with an app-enabled smart controller and powerful obstacle-avoidance technology.

The L10S Ultra has a retail price of 999 Euros, which is one of the highest robotic vacuum and mop combos on the market. In my tests, it was able to perform well in all areas of the home, taking out 98.4 percent of the debris on all types of floors and able to lift hair that is long without knots. The mops were also great and produced excellent cleaning results with less effort than most mid-range models due to their rotational motion and an incredibly strong cleaning solution.

The L10S Ultra's real selling point is its advanced multi-functional docking station. The dock emptys its dust bin into dirt bag, fills its water tank for mopping and dry the mop pads for you. It also features an in-real-time system for detecting hazards and allows you to schedule regular cleaning sessions using its intelligent controls.

The L10S Ultra does not offer the best robot cleaner performance in removing carpet debris compared to the other hybrid vacuum mop I tried. The mops on the L10S Ultra are not as effective at removing stubborn staining as the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.

Despite the L10S Ultra’s high-end features, it requires regular maintenance. The base station must be cleaned out and the dustbag and water tanks should be cleaned, empty and dried regularly to avoid unpleasant odors and mildew. It is also important to note that the mop pads, that are bought separately, are required to be replaced regularly too.

With the L10S Ultra's high-end pricing and its extensive features I would recommend it to anyone who has the funds for it. If you're on a tight budget I would suggest a less basic model that will allow you to save money and enjoy hands-free cleaning in your home. It's worth noting that even if the L10S Ultra is the best robotic vacuum and mop combination you can find, its high purchase price and ongoing maintenance will eventually make it more of a wish rather than a requirement.

3. Eufy S1 Pro

If you're looking for a robotic mop and vacuum that can remove dust and dirt on your hard floors while cleaning up wet mess look no further than the Eufy S1 Pro. This powerful mop and robovac combo packs a strong suction force of 8,000 Pa and a huge battery that can be used for both vacuuming and mowing and top-quality obstacle avoidance. It comes with a roller-mop that cleans itself which makes it stand out from models that require you to return to the base station to wash off the mop pad.

The S1 Pro uses a unique mopping system that is a big difference from the microfibre pads and spinning discs that other robots. The roller covers the entire width of the robot, and it is supplied with a continuous supply of fresh water that is filtered and ozonated from the dock. The roller scrubs the floor while soaking up dirt. Any dry debris is swept away with the side brushes or swept away into the front collision bumper. The S1 Pro dumps dirty mop water into its base station where it is sucked in by the heater elements of the tank and empty into a larger storage container. The onboard tank is able to hold a large amount of water and can handle up to a half dozen mopping session before running out.

The S1 Pro comes ready to use right out of the box as do most robotic vacuums and mops. The S1 Pro does need to be filled with clean water. This is easily accomplished in the cleaning dock. If you want to use your own cleaner you can include a cleaning solution to dock. If you do opt for this feature you'll need to purchase the brand-name cleaning solution from Eufy, which is more expensive than other robot vacuums that mop brands that permit you to use your own cleaning products.

Like most robots like it, the S1 Pro did well in the area of coverage and navigation efficiency. It was quick to map the area and was able to navigate around furniture. The only problem is that it got stuck a few times on carpets with longer piles and rugs during my testing however this could be rectified when the software is updated. The S1 Pro is a very capable all-in-one robot vacuum cleaner for an affordable price.

4. Roborock Qrevo

The Qrevo is Roborock's cheapest mop and vacuum. However, it has some outstanding features. Its multi-function dock drains the robot's dirtbag and replenishes its water tanks, washing and sanitizing the mop pads as it moves. The mopping system itself is capable cleaning a large portion of a space before it has to return to its dock, and the vacuum's extreme suction does a nice job of picking up debris and pet hair that accumulates on carpets.

The application that runs this appliance is fairly complex, with a broad range of options to customize the cleaning process. You can choose to manually start an entire map and clear everything that's been that is mapped by the device or you can select individual rooms, expandable zones or even a schedule you've set up. SmartPlan is one of the mopping options. It utilizes the sensors on the mops to map the area and determine the most efficient method to clean it.

Like the other Roborock models we've examined, the Qrevo performs well in our tests. Its navigation system is robust it can map rooms quickly and cleaning them in an organized manner. The default pathing setting is excellent at covering a room, with no major gaps or missed areas. The Reactive Tech hazard avoidance system works fairly well, too however it's not as sophisticated as the color camera system found on the Qrevo Master or the S8 Pro Ultra. It is able to detect dangers like carpets with thick padding, but may not be able to recognize smaller items such as electrical wires and rug tassels.

The most obvious flaw with this device is the absence of a mop after vacuum option which could be an issue for people who do a lot of vacuuming before cleaning with their robot. Thankfully, there's an easy alternative: the app has the option to "clean up" at the end of each vacuuming session. This lets you utilize the vacuum's mopping capability to eliminate the last traces of dust and debris that are left behind by the vacuuming. This is a nice feature that can help this robot clean a little better than its competitors with lower prices.
