The only problem is that it is known to smash into objects and walls at full speed. However an inspection of the history of cleaning on the app will reveal precisely what the robot has completed, where it's traveling, and what obstacles he has run into or avoided.

A large LCD screen on the docking station tells you when maintenance jobs must be completed, such as emptying the debris tray and cleaning the dirty water tank. It can also mix detergent into the tank automatically with a 600ml of eufy solution.

Both the S1 Pro mop and vacuum have a long running time. The mop can run for 184 mins in Quiet Mode and the vacuum can last 136 mins in standard mode, before needing to recharge or returning back to the base. You can also view the entire cleaning information in the app, which is clearly laid out and is easy to comprehend although we would like to be able to differentiate between a vacuum and mop clean, when examining a cleaned area in the cleaning history.

2. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra

The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra is the most recent version of the company's flagship robot vacuum and mop. The model this year has two agitators built into its mopping pad. The hinged lid opens to reveal a 350ml dustbin as well as a 200ml of water tank. The water tank self-empties and the bin auto-refilling.

The only downside I found in this model was the VibraRise mop pads mount isn't removable. While you can swap out the mopping cloth (if needed) however, it's a hassle to take off the mount itself to wash manually. Users can program the X40 to clean at specific times, alter suction power and mode, see floor plans and mapping and manage mopping settings. The X40 can also monitor its progress and notify you when it's done.

The X40 is easy to clean and has numerous convenient features, making it an ideal option for busy families. This is higher than the Roborock S8 Pro Ultra and Ecovacs Deebots T20 Omni. It can also vacuum up pet hair, dirt particles and remove spills and dirt-stained spots.

Its mops are also cleaned and dried inside the base station after each use. This is beneficial as it keeps mould and unpleasant odours from accumulating in storage. It also makes the mop system more efficient. This is a feature we've yet to see on other robot vacuums and mop models, and it could be a great method of keeping your home cleaner for longer.

There's a wealth of settings available which include the possibility to schedule cleaning appointments and adjust a variety of preferences. These settings can be adjusted via the app or there are buttons that can be found on the unit itself. The app is easy to use and offers many options for customizing the cleaning routine. Additionally, there are many features that other robots don't include, such as the Clean Genius mode that automatically increases suction power when it detects dust particles instead of relying on a manual setting.

The L20 Ultra is also one of the most stylish robots we've seen on market, with metallic and white colors that is elegant and stylish. It's a little heavier than the other two-in-one robots in this list - at around 4kg however it's not overly heavy either, and it is sturdy and well-built. The mopping system is well-designed and the double-rotating mop works well on hard floors or in corners. The MopExtend feature allows them to reach up to 2mm below baseboards.
