WoW Upgrades - The item level upgrade Upgrader

Upgrades can give you boost in specific stats. Each upgrade increases item level by +3. Each upgrade also increases the random substatus.

The upgraded gear is usually more valuable, unless the item is not required by nature (like FB sorc shields) or has a high variance in stats (like eth Titan weapons). These types of gear get less value from upgrading due to the necessity to roll for a perfect model.

Recycle Points

The upgrader for items allows players to upgrade their gear to a higher item level by providing the appropriate currency to the NPC. Upgrades can be applied to any type of armor or weapon. However, the item upgrader Kit that is used for the upgrade will remain in use for a long time and will not be able to be used again. Upgrades can be applied to Enchantments.

You can upgrade your equipment anytime by visiting the upgrader in any major city. To keep your gear current it is recommended you visit the upgrader every couple of weeks.

The cost of upgrading will vary based on the current item level of the equipment being upgraded, but will always be less expensive than purchasing new equipment from other sources. For example, upgrading a Benthic chest piece to 385 ilvl will cost 20 recycle points, while purchasing the same item from another player will costs 105.

Valorstones

Upgrades are functional items which can be used to improve the quality of weapons tools, armor, and other items. They can be purchased from NPCs of item upgraders in a variety of currencies. They can also find them on random treasure lists. Once an upgrade item has been purchased it can be applied to any weapon or tool using a button, which displays a preview of the item at its next upgrade level when the player has enough materials.

The upgrade cost depends on the slot of the item and the current item upgrading level and the weapon's price is higher than gloves or bracers for instance. Each upgrade costs 15 Flightstones plus a specific number of crests. Some upgrades give a discount on the Flightstones.
