The i3+ isn't able to have the same obstacle avoidance capabilities as the i7+ or other top-rated robots we have test. It can get stuck on power cords and socks and have difficulty navigating between different surfaces, like hardwood and rug.

iRobot suggests cleaning the area around the i3+ EVO vacuums prior to using it. This includes getting rid of any toys or clutter it might encounter. The iRobot Home App made it easy to connect the i7+ to these services. Once connected, to speak commands to the i7+ like "Hey Alexa vacuum the master bedroom."
