If you're looking for a robotic vacuum that can also mop, this is the model to go for. It's smaller than other models on this list making it easier to navigate through tight corners and under furniture. It has a 220-degree lidar that combined with its 3D Matrix camera system gives it some of the most effective navigation and object avoidance I've ever seen in a robotic vacuum. It packs a powerful 4600mAh battery which lasts up to 170-minutes, if mopping and suction are set to standard mode (it is able to run longer in turbo). It will even return to the dock to top up its battery midway through a clean.

It is very fast and does an excellent job cleaning my two-bedroom apartment. It vacuums carpeted rooms quickly, and hardwood floors in the living room, kitchen and hallways with only one motion. Its 8,000pa motor is able to remove dirt, pet hair, and droppings effortlessly. Carpet detection increases power automatically when it comes into contact with rugs, and the two side brushes help draw out dirt from corners.

The mopping performance is a little less impressive, though not by much. The mop's rotating motor spins at a high velocity and it pushes down with 2.2lbs of force, effortlessly scrubbing up dirt and staining. I've noticed that the front arm extends out a bit more than other robots that vacuum and mop. This is helpful when getting into difficult corners or along baseboards. The front arms can also be used to pick up larger objects like books and broken toys.

The S1 Pro is also one of the quietest robot mop and vacuums I've used. It is quieter and doesn't make more noise when mopping or vacuuming. The only drawback is that the S1 Pro must use a specific cleaning solution to perform its mopping function and is sold separately from the vacuum. It's simple to set up and performs well, but it's something you'll have to keep an eye on in case you're purchasing this vacuum for the sole reason of mopping.

The Roborock Q Revo

The Q Revo is different from other robot vacuums in its class. It is a powerful cleaning machine with a wide range of features.

The Yiko X1 Omni

The X1 Omni is the most expensive robotic vacuum that is able to mop in our review, but it has some distinct features that are worth taking into consideration. The X1 Omni's most appealing feature is its huge dock, which serves as the robot's charging base and the housing for two water tanks, a sink for cleaning, and an automatic 2.5-liter dust bin that automatically empties.

The base also has a variety of buttons to control the system. These allow you to start cleaning or recall the robot or start the dock's auto-emptying process. Hold down two of the buttons to turn off a child lock that is a great feature for parents who are worried about kids tinkering with the vacuum.

Like other robotic vacuums the Omni Omni uses its camera to identify furniture and obstacles in its path, and then avoid them. True Mapping 2.0 navigation maps your home up to four times faster than laser detection systems.

This can cause the X1 to become stuck when it is entangled in an obstacle like a power cable tangled over a rug. It won't work until you manually untangle it. This is a rare event, but frustrating nonetheless, because the X1 doesn't have an "stuck status" alert on its application.

The X1 Omni cannot automatically switch from mopping mode to vacuuming mode during the cleaning process. You will need to manually swap between the two, which isn't too bad aside from the fact that mopping pads aren't washed and dried between use, which can lead to mildew or mold.

The X1 Omni looks great, thanks to the Jacob Jensen design team (of Bang & Olufsen fame), who created its sleek modern, contemporary base and mopping pad. It's a big difference from the utilitarian black bases of rivals such as Roborock or iRobot. It's also a welcome sight for a market dominated by clunky boxy models.
