best robotic mop and vacuum (great post to read) Combos

The majority of robot cleaner vacuum-mop combinations can be customized with an application that allows you to save maps of your home, set cleaning schedules and select mopping modes. They also let you change suction power and fine tune the amount of water and scrubbing action your mop uses.

A mapping function can help your robot navigate through rooms. A feature to avoid obstacles helps it avoid running over furniture, wires or other toys. These features are essential in my house that is filled with toys.

1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra

Roborock S8 Pro Ultra, the company's flagship vacuum and mop, is packed with features. It can mop and sweep simultaneously, and can even lift its mop pads or brushes so that soft surfaces don't get wet. It also has the ability to see and avoid obstacles, with the ability to identify pet toys plants, small objects.

The robotic vacuum has a maximum suction power of 6,000 pascals which is more than any other robot vac we've tested to date. It also comes with PreciSense LiDAR Navigation to track its location, preventing it getting stuck on a surface.

Its mopping functionality is also impressive and features the S8 Pro Ultra able to apply a constant pressure of more than 6 Newtons to the mop pad, resulting in an intense clean. It also has an automatic vacuum cleaner and mop mop lifting system, which will lift the pad when it goes from laminate to tile hardwood, carpets and rugs to prevent getting soaked by these soft surfaces.

In addition in addition, the S8 Pro Ultra has self-washing and self-drying capabilities. The pad can be used for rinsing and heat-drying within the dock. The dust bin will automatically empty before returning to the dock. You can set it and forget about it. You only need to refill the water tank, or replace the dust bag on occasion.

All of this is powered by a 5,200mAh lithium-ion battery. The S8 Pro Ultra ran on its normal vac- and mop-settings for around 160 minutes before beginning to run out of power, and then returned to its base to recharge. This isn't too far from the 180 minutes Roborock claims, and is on par other hybrids I've tested.

This is a highly well-rounded and capable product, with its only downsides being that it's expensive. The sheer amount of features make it an appealing choice for anyone who is looking to replace their old stick vacuums and mops. If you can afford the price, we highly recommend checking this one out.

2. Dreametech L10S Ultra

The Dreametech L10S Ultra robot vacuum and mop is an expensive combination. The price is justified by the powerful features, including a large vacuuming capability, as well as two gyrating mop heads. It also has a smart, app-enabled controller and a powerful obstacle avoidance system.

The L10S Ultra is one of the most expensive robotic vacuums and mop sets available, at a recommended retail price of 999 euros. In my tests, it performed admirably throughout the home. It removed 98.4 percent of debris from any type of floor and managed to lift long hair without getting caught in. The mops also performed well with excellent cleaning results with less effort than mid-range models. This was thanks to their rotational movement and a strong dose cleaning solution.

The L10S Ultra's main selling point is its advanced docking station that is multi-functional. The dock emptys its dust bin into dirt bag, then refills its water tank for mopping, and dries its mop pads for you. It is equipped with a real-time danger detection system, and its sophisticated controls allow you to schedule regular cleaning sessions.

The L10S Ultra does not offer superior carpet debris removal performance in comparison to the other hybrid vacuum mops I tested. Additionally the mops aren't adept at removing stubborn stains as those found in the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra, which is the most expensive model. Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.

Despite the L10S Ultra's top-of-the-line features, it still requires regular maintenance. To prevent the growth of mildew or unpleasant smells, the base station dustbag, water and tanks must be cleaned, emptied and dried regularly. The mop pads that are sold separately will also need to be changed periodically.

I would recommend the L10S Ultra to anyone with the money. If you're on a smaller budget, I would suggest a more rudimentary model that allows you to save money while still enjoying hands-free cleaning at your home. Even if the L10S Ultra was the best robot mop and vacuum you could buy but its cost and frequent maintenance will make it seem more an item to have than one that you actually need.

3. Eufy S1 Pro

If you're looking for a robotic vacuum and mop that will pick up dirt and dust on your floors while taking care of wet mess look no further than the Eufy S1 Pro. This powerful mop and robot vacuum combo comes with an impressive suction power of 8,000 Pa and a huge battery that can be used for both mowing and vacuuming and a top-of-the-line obstacle-avoiding. It even comes with a roller mop that cleans itself as it goes, which makes the S1 Pro stand out from other models that require users to return to their base station mid-clean in order to clean the mop pad.

The S1 Pro has a unique mopping mechanism that is different from the spinning discs and microfibre pads of other robots. The roller is almost the entire length of the robot and it gets a constant supply of clean water that is filtered and ozonated from the dock. The roller scrubs the floor while soaking up dirt. Any dry debris is picked up with the side brushes, or swept into the front collision bumper. The S1 Pro then dumps the dirty mop water into its base station which is then absorbed by the tank's heating elements, and then pumped into a larger storage canister. The tank that is onboard can hold a good robot vacuum amount of water and can handle up to half a dozen mopping session before running out.

As with most robotic vacuums and mop sets, the S1 Pro is ready to roll out of the box. It does need to be filled with clean water, but this is a simple task within the cleaning dock. You can also add a cleaning solution to the dock in case you want to have the option of using your own cleaner. If you choose this feature, however, you will be required to purchase the Eufy brand cleaning solution, which is more costly than other robot brands that allow you to use your choice of cleaning solutions.

As with most robots like it, the S1 Pro did well in the area of coverage and navigation efficiency. It was quick to map a space and was able to navigate around furniture. The only problem is that it got stuck a couple of times on carpets with longer piles and rugs during my testing, but this may be rectified when the software is updated. The S1 Pro is a very capable all-in-one robot for affordable prices.

4. Roborock Qrevo

The Qrevo is Roborock's entry-level mop and vacuum cleaner however it has some impressive features. The dock's multifunction allows emptying the robot's dirtbag, filling its water tanks, and cleaning and sanitizing the mop pads is handled by the dock. The mopping system is able to be able to clean a large area prior to returning to its dock. The vacuum's suction power is perfect for picking up pet hair and debris on carpets.

The software that runs the appliance is quite complex, and offers a variety of options for customizing the cleaning process. You can set it up manually to start a full map and take care to clean everything that is mapped by the device, or you can choose specific rooms, expandable zones, or even a routine you've crafted. SmartPlan is one of the mopping options. It utilizes the sensors on the mops to map the area and determine the most efficient method to clean it.

Like the other Roborock models we've evaluated like all the Roborock models we've tested, the Qrevo is a great performer in our tests. Its navigation system is reliable it can map rooms quickly and cleaning them in an organized way. Its 'Normal' pathing setting is excellent at covering a room, leaving no major gaps or missed areas. The Reactive Tech hazard avoidance system works fairly well, too although it's not as advanced as the color camera system of the Qrevo Master or the S8 Pro Ultra. It can detect hazards like carpets with thick padding, but may not be able recognize smaller items such as electrical wires and rug tassels.

The machine has a major problem: it doesn't have a mop option after vacuuming. This could be a problem for people who regularly vacuum before using their robot. There's a good alternative: the app has an option to "clean up" at the end of each vacuuming session. You can use the mopping features of the vacuum to get rid of the dust and dirt that are left behind after vacuuming. It's a nice addition, and it helps the robot to get rid of a bit better than its cheaper rivals.
