World of Warcraft Upgrades and Item Upgrading

Upgrades boost the value of certain numeric stats on weapons, armor and rings. Upgrades can also boost bonuses like Crit chance and damage from PvE.

For instance, a weapon with the upgrade template ending in % will suffer 3% attack damage every time it upgrades (relative to its previous value).

Item upgrading costs crests and the item's current level. The cost increases with item's level.

Components

Upgrade components can be added to trinkets, weapons and armor in order to provide them with a boost in stats or to add an additional effect. They can be obtained by crafting, purchasing from vendors, trading or looting. Certain upgrades come with special cosmetic effects.

Upgrade components are only available to devices that have slots. The item must be at least upgraded to a blue level before the component can be used. Like other mods, upgrade components can only be used once; they cannot be applied repeatedly or replaced with upgrades. Infusions and enrichments are a special kind of upgrade component that is that is used to upgrade non-amulet ascended or legendary equipment and some of the items that are not ascending back. Infusions and enrichments can be retrieved by salvaging gear from the ascended, or completing an elite mission in the Prophecies, Factions and Nightfall campaigns.

An upgrade could include a suffix or prefix changing the name of the equipment with which it is used (for example "Canthan Armor Insignia is changed to Canthan Armor of Minor Vigor). Some upgrades increase an item's Mark Level or Rarity, which allows players to create stronger versions of the equipment that require less Upgrade Crystals than are required to achieve the same level of upgrade through normal methods.

A boost upgrade can change the attack or defence characteristics of the weapon or armor. After the player has completed the cutscene and defeated the Crazed Mechanist the upgrades can be created at the Portative Forging Station. These upgrades are available for purchase them from the cash shop or getting them from enemies while upgrading other equipment.

Each upgrade increases the chance that a better-quality version of an item will be dropped during the next reset. This gives the player some incentive to keep upgrading their gear even if they're uncertain of how much it will improve after a future reset.

Whether a boost upgrade is successful or not, the process may be costly, and there is a substantial possibility that the item will become obsolete or even break if it fails. A failed upgrade will cause the destruction of Upgrade Crystals and Assist Powder as well as the upgraded item. This is mitigated by the availability of cash shop items that can double or even eliminate possibility of failure, and some upgrades that offer an additional benefit when they are inserted into an item.

Glyphs

Glyphs are upgrade parts that can be inserted into special sockets on the Paragon Board. Glyphs boost the power of nodes within a radius, including any existing attaches. Glyphs are upgraded in many ways. We suggest upgrading them as soon as possible to level 15.

It is commonplace to see in the endgame that putting Glyphs is the Best item upgrader method to upgrade your gear. They are the only upgrade components that can be upgraded up to level 15 and offer an enormous boost to your power on the Paragon Board.

The majority of upgrades in the game can be replaced but Glyphs are the only upgrade component that can be removed and re-placed without restriction. Only legendary equipment can be salvaged and rebuilt by using the help of a Black Lion Salvage Kit.

The value of each Glyph is displayed when you select it from your inventory. You can replace it with another Glyph that is the same or higher rank to increase the value of the Glyph.

Glyphs are available in the Black Lion Trading Post as part of a Gem Store bundle or purchase them with certain tools that are unlimited in use as well as during Faction Crypt Raids. Every Faction Crypt will drop one of these Glyphs. There are some rare glyphs you can find in any of the Faction Crypts.

Once you have obtained the desired Glyphs then you have to attach them to your gear. Each Glyph unlocks a bonus that will boost the stats of a particular set of nodes in a radius surrounding the Glyph. Based on the Glyph it could be +40 to one of your primary stats, or +25 to two of your secondary stats.

Glyphs will boost all nodes connected to them, so it is Best item upgrader to place Glyphs in key places on the Graph. This will increase the impact. Druids, for example, should place their Glyphs close to their primary damage nodes. They may be able to place them near their critical damage nodes.

Leveling

The item upgrading system allows players to increase the stats of certain items by placing upgraded components into them. This is known as "upping". Every upgradeable item has a level that determines its final upgraded stats. Upgraded items can be leveled up to a maximum level of ilvl 385. Each item level requires different components, and the cost of upgrading increase with each level.

Certain upgrades require a certain ingredient to activate. This ingredient can be obtained by finishing Upgrade Recipes. These recipes can be purchased from NPCs or found on the upgrade tab in the crafting table. Each completed Upgrade Recipe yields several Technology Points. These points can be used to level up the item, and once enough are earned, the upgrade can be claimed and the additional bonuses will be added to the item.

When the player upgrades an item, the base item is replaced with a different item of the same type. The same armor can be transformed into the form of a weapon or shield when upgraded. The new item will have its own set bonus. This can be a downside in that the item could become more expensive even if you don't need it.

If the player has enough tokens they can roll the upgrade of their item. The item will be replaced with an entirely new item that is based on a level 1 base and totally different bonuses. This is useful for certain items, but it's not something that should be done regularly, as it can waste lots of resources.

Some upgrades can increase their value, allowing players to customize their gear. One example is Dolphin's Gift, which gives an advantage when a player is repeatedly in and out of the water (or does not swim as a dolphin). This item can be upgraded several times, increasing the maximum roll each time by 10 increments. This item is very useful in PvP. A well-rolled version can be worth up to 50x the value of a unupgraded counterpart.

Requirements

When an item is upgraded, the upgrades are applied from the lowest to highest. This means that, if a weapon gains an increase in the chance of crit the increase is applied prior to any increase in attack damage. Slots is a new attribute that was added to item definitions. The value is calculated each time an upgrade occurs.

The amount of resources required to upgrade an item are dependent on its rarity score and the number of upgrade slots. The upgrade cost for non-premium products is equal to the base value of the upgrade. For instance, a typical equipment item could have five upgrades at a cost of 25,600 Technology Points and a 4x Quality Improvement Chance. Hero grade items will come with the lowest cost for each upgrade.

Premium items have different upgrade requirements than standard gear--for instance, they might require fewer sowels but more minerals and erons. Whatever the case, players must visit the NPC [ArmorBoboko in Central Flarine. Boboko in Central Flarine with each piece of equipment they want to upgrade. In addition to the upgrade cost mentioned above, each equipment upgrade requires an individual amount of ingredients needed to upgrade.
