WoW Upgrades - The Item Upgrader

Upgrades will give you a boosts in certain stats. Each upgrade increases Item level upgrade level by 3. Each upgrade also increases a random substat.

The upgraded gear is usually more useful, unless the item has a low requirement by nature (like FB sorc shields) or has a large variance in stats (like eth Titan weapons). Upgrades aren't as valuable for those with lower requirements due to the need to roll a perfect version.

Recycle Points

The item upgrades upgrader lets players upgrade their gear by offering the currency to an NPC. Upgrades can be applied to any kind of armor or weapon. However, the item used for the upgrade will be consumed for the duration of time and can't be used again. Upgrades can also be used to create enhancements.

You can upgrade your equipment anytime by visiting the upgrader in any major city. It is recommended that you visit the upgrader once every couple of weeks to ensure that your equipment is up to date.

The cost of upgrading will depend on the current level of the equipment being upgraded but they will always be less expensive than buying new equipment from other sources. For instance, upgrading a Benthic chest to 385 ilvl will cost 20 recycle points, while buying a similar item upgrade from another player will cost 105.

Valorstones

Upgrades are functional items that can be used to level up weapons, tools, armor, and other items. They can be purchased by players through NPCs who sell upgrades to item owners for a variety of currencies. They can also find them on random treasure lists. Once purchased, an upgrade is able to be used on any tool, weapon or armor. button, which will show an image of the item at the next upgrade level when the player has enough materials.

The cost of upgrading varies based on the item slot, and the current item level. For example weapons cost more than gloves, bracers, or bracers. Each upgrade costs 15 Flightstones plus a certain number of crests. Some upgrades give discounts on Flightstones. Once an item has been upgraded to a certain degree it is able to be degraded and sold back to the upgrader for a lesser amount of the two currency types.

Many locations have upgraders for their items, including the main Island and a few outposts. The NPCs offer both an upgrade coupon and a possibility of obtaining the latest recipe. The discount on upgrades increases depending on the amount of items being upgraded. It is also possible to be boosted by requiring players to complete specific achievements or quests.

Icewind Dale does not have an item upgrader at beginning, unlike Cromwell from Baldur's gate II. The NPCs who can facilitate upgrades are only available through a variety of methods. This is both a benefit as well as a drawback.

Crests

Players have a number of choices when it comes to upgrading their gear in WoW. Flightstones are an item that is available to all players for upgrading. This allows players to upgrade their gear to the highest possible level for all their characters instead of relying on seasonal loot.

Another significant modification is that crests have one purpose and it's crucial to use them properly. It's Best item upgrader to use your Whelpling-rank crests on the best gear you can find, and save Drake and Wyrm Crests for the next set of upgrades. This is particularly applicable to items like trinkets and rings that take up multiple slots. The discount for the entire account is only applicable when all slots on the character are filled with top-quality gear.
