The Roomba J7+ is iRobot's most intelligent robot vacuum to date. The Q5+ is extremely gentle when it comes to obstacles like table legs and walls. This makes it a great option for homes with many furniture pieces. It is also very thorough in removing dust bunnies. This is a area where most robot vacuums of lower quality fall short. The Q5+'s navigation system is also top-quality, with a few misses along walls and in corners.

The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a sophisticated, well-rounded mop and vacuum. It's capable of vacuuming and mopping. Its design is one of the best in the industry however, it's costly.

It is a relatively small base station that looks great and is easily hidden when not in use. The primary selling point of the station is that it can automate many tasks, functions and chores that other robots leave to you. It can store clean and dirty water, electrolyzes and heats the water (which most other robovacs require you to do) and empty the dust bin after vacuuming, and helps keep your robot charged and clean.

And its vacuuming is impressive and efficient, too. It's the only robovacs that I've tested that does an excellent job of cleaning up debris from bare floors, and it's not nearly as loud as the more expensive Roomba 980 or iRobot the 900 series.

But the Freo X Ultra has its faults, especially when it comes to navigation. Its laser and LiDAR sensors aren't as reliable and reliable as other robovacs, which means it can get stuck or confused in certain areas of the home. It also can't climb stairs like other models and doesn't come with a dock that can create a clean zone for carpets that are soft.

Although it doesn't provide as many in terms of cleaning options available in its app or as many in-app shortcuts as other robovacs, the Freo X Ultra is still an excellent choice for anyone looking for an all-around great robot vacuum and mop that's worth the higher price cost.

However, if you're looking to save some cash or simply don't care about the limitations of this machine, there are plenty of alternatives available, including a lot of eufy models for substantially less. The eufy Qrevo curv, for example is less expensive however it comes with many more features, like the ability to climb stairs and a full-function Dock, with the ability to provide a more thorough vacuuming experience on plain floors carpets with low pile as well as high-pile carpets.

4. Eufy RoboVac G30

Eufy is an Anker company that has a long history of creating robot vacuums that offer the perfect balance of features, performance and price. The G30 Hybrid is no different it offers a high-quality cleaning of hard floors and mopping, carpets and other surfaces at a reasonable price.
