The dust bin will automatically empty before returning to the dock. You can set it up and forget about it. You will only need to refill the water tank, or replace the dust bag occasionally.

All of this is powered by a lithium-ion 5,200mAh battery. I tested it with its normal vac and mop settings for around 160 minutes before the S8 Pro Ultra started to get power hungry and returned to its base to recharge. This is within the range of the 180-minute time that Roborock claims, and is on par with other hybrids that I've tested.

It's a comprehensive, reliable product. The only issue is that it's pricey. Its sheer number of features makes it a very attractive option for anyone looking to replace their old mops and stick vacuums. If you can justify the hefty price tag we recommend you check this one out.

2. Dreametech L10S Ultra

The Dreametech L10S Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a high-end combination. Its price is justified by its robust features, which include an impressive vacuuming capacity as well as two gyrating mops. It comes with an app-enabled smart control system and an advanced obstacle-avoidance system.

The L10S Ultra is one of the most expensive robotic vacuums and mop combos available, at a recommended retail price of 999 euros. In my testing it performed well across all areas of the home, removing 98.4 percent of debris from all types of floors and able to lift hair that is long without tangling. The mops were also excellent in delivering outstanding cleaning results with less effort than most mid-range models due to their rotational motion as well as an incredibly strong cleaning solution.

However, the L10S Ultra's main highlight is its multi-functional docking station. The dock empties its dustbin into dirt bag, fills its water tank for mopping, and dry its mop pads for you. It is equipped with a real-time danger detection system, and its smart controls allow you to schedule periodic cleaning sessions.

In contrast to the other hybrid vacuum mops that I tested and compared, the L10S Ultra doesn't offer advanced dirt pickup on carpets. The mops in the L10S Ultra aren't as effective in removing tough stains as the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.

Despite the L10S Ultra's premium features it still requires regular maintenance. To prevent the growth of mildew or unpleasant odors, the base station dustbag, water, and tanks must be cleaned, emptied and dried regularly. It is also important to remember that the mop pads, which are bought separately must be replaced regularly too.

I would recommend the L10S Ultra to anyone with the money. If you're on a budget, I would suggest an easier model that will allow you to save money while enjoying hands-free cleaning at your home. It's important to note that even the L10S Ultra is the best robot vacuum and mop you can find however, its price and ongoing maintenance will eventually make it more of a desire than a need.

3. Eufy S1 Pro

If you're looking for a robot vacuum and mop that will remove dust and dirt on your hard floors while taking care of wet mess, then look no further than the Eufy S1 Pro. This powerful robovac/mop combo is a mighty suction power of 8,000 Pa. It also has a large battery capacity that can be used for vacuuming as well as mowing. And it is equipped with an excellent obstacle-avoidance system. It comes with a roller-mop that is self-cleaning and makes it stand out from models which require you to return to the base station to wash the mop pad.

The S1 Pro uses a unique mopping system that is a big difference from the microfibre pads and spinning discs that other robots. The roller covers the entire width of the robot, and it is supplied with a continuous supply of fresh, ozonated filtered water from the dock. The roller scrubs the floor while soaking up dirt. Dry debris is removed using the side brushes or swept away into the front bumper. The S1 Pro then dumps the dirty mop water into its base station where it is sucked up by the tank's heating elements before being then pumped into a larger storage canister. The tank onboard holds a decent amount of water and can handle a half dozen mopping sessions before running dry.

Like many robotic vacuums and mop combos The S1 Pro is ready to take it out from the box. It does need to be filled with clean water, however this is a simple task within the cleaning dock. You can also add cleaning solution to the dock should you prefer the option of using your own cleaner. 4. Roborock Qrevo

The Qrevo is Roborock’s entry-level mop and vacuum cleaner, but it still has some outstanding features. The dock's multi-function function is emptying the robot's dirtbag, refilling its water tanks, as well as washing and sanitizing mop pads is handled by the dock. The mopping system is able to sweep a large area before returning to its dock. The vacuum's suction power is perfect for picking up pet hair and other debris from carpets.

The Reactive Tech hazard avoidance system works fairly well, too, though it's not as sophisticated as the color camera system found on the Qrevo Master or the S8 Pro Ultra. It can detect hazards like carpets that are thick, but it might not be able to recognize smaller items such as rug tassels and electrical wires.

The most obvious flaw with this model is the absence of a mop-after-vacuum option, which could be an issue for people who are frequently vacuuming prior to cleaning with their robot vacuum cleaner. There's a good alternative: the app has an option to "clean up" at the end of each vacuuming session. This allows you to use the vacuum's mopping capability to get rid of the last remnants of dust and debris that are left behind by the vacuuming.
