If you're on a tight budget and don't require a stroller that doubles up as car seat carriers, the Babyzen Yoyo is a good choice. It comes with a simple one-step foot brake that's flip flop comfortable.

It's also easy to push and feels sturdy when you're navigating kerbs and woodland pathways. Additionally, it's easy to fold.

1. Babyzen YOYO2

The Babyzen YOYO2 has earned a name as the most lightweight buggy for city dwellers and jet-setters alike, thanks to its nimble maneuverability and foldable design that can be tucked away in aeroplane overhead luggage. The latest version has independent suspension on all four wheels comprised of Hytrel elastomer, which allows it to effortlessly navigate all terrains and types'.

The curved fabric bassinet, base YOYO2 and 6months of colour pack come together to create a sleek pushchair that has a soft elegant look. The base frame alone weighs just under a kilo and is so light you can easily lift it from the box (and do so one-handed).

The hood, for example is able to snap onto the YOYO2 with a reassuring manner. It is also machine washable at 30 degrees which helps avoid stains caused by smushed carrot puffs and rice cakes. The Newborn Pack and bassinet can be used from birth as an infant stroller. It can also be converted into a stroller at 6 months with the YOYO connect other chassis.

2. Evenflo Pivot Xplore

Evenflo Pivot Xplore stroller wagon is a great choice for parents looking for an adaptable stroller. It can be converted from a stroller to a wagon just by flipping the handle, meaning parents can choose which mode they prefer on their adventure. The wagon is able to accommodate two or three children ranging from 6 months to 5 years old. It comes with a large storage basket that can accommodate all your needs on the go.

The Xplore has dual canopies which are able to rotate from front to back, ensuring adequate sun protection for the entire family. It also has a footwell that's not as deep or large as some wagons, so it may not be ideal for long-distance excursions or for napping.

The frame on the Xplore feels sturdy and solid, although it does not have the same flex as some of the other wagons we tested. It is also more difficult to fold than many of the other models and does not secure when folded. It is easy to move however, and can be able to fit through narrow 28-inch doors.

3. Delta Children LX Side-by-Side

This basic double stroller from Delta Children is an excellent option for parents seeking an affordable second stroller for their travels. It scored high in our Strollers & Multiples Test for weight and folded dimensions. This means it's lightweight, compact when folded, and easy to carry and put in a trunk for your car. It also has the option of reclining in multiple positions and an adult cup holder. Other features of note include 360-degree shock-absorbing front wheels as well as two large storage bags that hang from the ceiling.

In our test of the push and turn it performed better than the majority of other cheap single convertible stroller pushchair (Related Home Page) strollers we test, but it's not the most maneuverable over uneven ground or through doorways that are narrow. The sunshades are among the most compact we tested, with only direct overhead coverage and no peekaboo windows. The UPPAbaby G-Link 2 has a much larger canopy.

The Delta took us just under 3 minutes to put together with an average manual and no components required tools. It's lacking some features that we consider essential for a double stroller. These include an extra-large basket, reclining seats and leg rests that can be adjusted.

4. Maxi-Cosi Zelia 2-in-1

The Zelia is the latest version of Maxi-Cosi's pushchair range and is advertised as an urban travel system. It is suitable from birth to around 3.5-years-old. The carrycot and seat can be converted easily with just a few clicks. It can be used with Maxi Cosi capsule car seats. It comes with a light Mico 30 infant seat, a car-base that stays in the car and a reversible car seat.

It's a breeze to maneuver, and the one-hand recline of the seat as well as the massive shopping basket make it simple for parent-tots to get the child in and out quickly. This compact pushchair can handle everyday bumps and doorways easily.

The front wheels can be locked in a forward position or allow them to rotate which helps when covering rough terrain. While walking along the stony path we allowed them to swivel and it did this quite well although it did seem slightly bumpier than other models in our test.

5. Baby Jogger City Tour 2

Baby Jogger is most well-known for its 3-wheeled, all-terrain, strollers for jogging. However, they also make a broad range of 4-wheeler pushchairs. The City Tour 2 is one of their most loved models. It is simple to use and folds up small enough to fit into a car boot even with the carrycot attached.

It's a little heavier than the other strollers we tried, but the wheels are rubber composite, so it feels sturdy and durable. It is easy to maneuver over different terrains and even with two children, a shopping bag and other things.

The seat and carrycot both have hoods with pull-down sun canopy extensions that are UV50+. They are water-resistant and durable unlike other prams' hoods which get bounced back into toddlers faces.

It's not a lot of storage space but it has an ample basket that is deep enough to accommodate a changing bag or a large amount of groceries. It can also be used with a Baby Jogger car seat for babies that weigh up to 20 pounds (car seat and adapters are sold separately). If you need a stroller that can be used on the road, then the City Tour 2 is an excellent choice.

6. Nuna Mixx Next

When the Nuna Mixx first came onto the scene, it stole the hearts of parents across the world. It is an aluminium-framed stroller that can be used from the infant's first days until. It has a number of distinctive features like the possibility of flipping the seat to be parent-facing and world-facing, a large UPF 50+ canopy with a flip out eyeshade as well as a large basket and adjustable handlebar.

The wheels are strong and filled with foam which minimizes punctures. The chassis also has built-in suspension that takes the sting out of rough terrain. Our tester found it to be smooth to push and was able to maneuver it through narrow streets without difficulty.

It folds automatically and locks in just four steps. It also stands and can be rolled around for easier transportation in the boot of your car or down the stairs at home. It also comes with a travel system equipped with the ability to add a car seat or carrycot with the adaptors included. The brakes are easy to use with single lightweight stroller action colored and flip-flop-friendly.

7. Babyzen Duet

This single infant stroller pushchair that is budget-friendly is surprisingly easy to maneuver and has an excellent dual suspension system, one-hand fold and a practical carry strap. It's also light and sturdy. The seat can be reclined into a variety of different positions. It also has a double-breathable mattress that's suitable for babies.

The canopy/seat features two extra-large fixed or flip out sun visors and both are UPF50+. The toggle closure isn’t ideal since it's not as silent as Velcro, and can awaken napping babies.

The Duet is a stroller with an angled design that can accommodate twins or siblings. (Up to 22kg per seat). It is compatible with two infant car seats and works with some carrycots. In twin mode the seats can face each other or can rotate around to face parents, theoretically reducing sibling rivalries over who gets to sit with mom and dad. It has a huge bottle holder, a gear tray snack tray, and an adjustable mat. It also comes with a compact stand fold, and an automatic frame lock.

8. Baby Jogger Urban Glide 2

The Thule Urban Glide 2 is a jogger that's ideal for parents who like to stay active. It's one of the lightest strollers that you can buy for your child. It also has great safety features, like the 5-point safety harness and wrist safety straps. It has a different type of hand brake that is different from other models that is an interesting twist.

The seat is well-padded and has plenty of room to sit in, however the seat's depth is less than other joggers we've tried (it's approximately 10"). The storage bin has an enclosed zipper to help keep items secure. It can hold up to 10lbs which is sufficient for the majority of diaper bags.

The Urban Glide 2 isn't compatible with bassinets for infants or car seats in the way it is, however you can use it from the beginning by purchasing adapters to most seats from brands like BOB, Graco, Combi, Evenflo, Britax, and UPPAbaby. It folds up compactly and takes 5-10 minutes to put together with no tools. The manual is simple to comprehend and contains multiple languages.
