It also has mop lifter technology that will lift the pad automatically when it changes between tile and laminate hardwood, carpet or rugs, to prevent soaking soft surfaces.

In addition it is also the S8 Pro Ultra has self-washing and self-drying features. The pad can be cleaned and dried in the dock, and the dust bin will get emptied and automatically returned to it. This means that you can set it and forget it, only needing to replace the dust bag or refill the water tank occasionally.

This is all powered by a lithium-ion battery of 5,200mAh. The S8 Pro Ultra ran on its standard mop- and vac-settings for around 160 minutes before it began to lose power and returned to its base to recharge. This isn't too far off of the 180-minute time that Roborock claims, and is on par with other hybrids I've tested.

It's a comprehensive, reliable product. The only downside is that it's expensive. The number of features make it an appealing choice for anyone looking to replace their old mops and stick vacuums. If you are able to justify the price we strongly recommend checking this one out.

2. Dreametech L10S Ultra

The Dreametech L10S Ultra is a premium robot vacuum and mop combination. Its premium price tag is justified by its powerful features, which include a large vacuuming capacity and two gyrating mop mops. It has an app-enabled smart controller as well as powerful obstacle-avoidance technology.

The L10S Ultra has a retail price of 999 euros, which is among the highest robotic vacuum and mop combos on the market. In my testing it was able to perform well in all areas of the home, removing 98.4 percent of debris from all types of floors and able to lift long hair without tangling. To prevent the growth of mildew or unpleasant odors, the base unit dustbag, water, and tanks need to be cleaned regularly, emptied, and dried. It is also important to keep in mind that the mop pads, which are bought separately will need to be replaced on a regular basis too.

Given the L10S Ultra's premium pricing and its extensive features I would highly recommend it to anyone with the budget for it. If you're on a budget I would suggest a less basic model that allows you to save money and still enjoy hands-free cleaning in your home. It's important to note that even the L10S Ultra is the best robot vacuum cleaner and mop robotic vacuum and mop combination you can buy but its high price and ongoing maintenance will eventually make it more of a desire than a necessity.

3. Eufy S1 Pro

If you decide to use this feature however, you'll be required to purchase the Eufy brand cleaning solution which is more expensive than other robot brands allowing you to use your choice of cleaning products.

The S1 Pro performed well in the navigation efficiency and coverage tests, as did most robots. It was quick to map the space and navigated around furniture. The only issue is that it was stuck a couple times on larger pile carpets and rugs during my tests, but this may be fixed when the software is upgraded. The S1 Pro is a very powerful robot that can be bought at an affordable price.

4. Roborock Qrevo

The Qrevo is Roborock's basic mop and vacuum. However, it still offers some impressive features. The dock's multi-function function is emptying the robot's dirtbag and refilling its water tanks, and cleaning and sanitizing the mop pads is handled by the dock. The mopping system itself is capable of cleaning a large portion of an area before it needs to return to its dock and the vacuum's high suction is capable of removing dirt and pet hair that accumulates on carpets.

The software that runs the appliance is quite extensive, and provides various options to customize the cleaning process. You can clean manually the entire area that this device maps or select specific rooms, zones that can be expanded, or a routine you've developed. SmartPlan is one of the mopping options. It uses the sensors on the mops to map out the area and determine the most efficient way to clean it.

The Qrevo was a great performer in our tests, as all Roborock models we've evaluated. Its navigation system is reliable, mapping rooms quickly and cleaning them in a systematic way. Its 'Normal" pathing settings cover an area well, and doesn't leave any major gaps or missing areas. The Reactive Tech hazard avoidance system is quite reliable, too however it's not as sophisticated as the color camera system on the Qrevo Master or the S8 Pro Ultra. It can detect hazards like thick carpets but might not be able to identify smaller objects like electrical wires and rug tassels.

The machine has a major issue: it doesn't offer a mop after vacuuming. This could be a problem for those who regularly vacuum before using their robot vacuums best. There's an easy solution: the app has an option that lets you "clean up", at the end of each vacuuming session. This allows you to use the vacuum's mopping capability to remove the last traces of dust and debris that are left behind by your vacuuming. This is a great feature that lets this vacuum to clean up a bit better than its cheaper competitors.
