However, unlike the i7+ and other top rated Robot vacuum-rated robots we tested the i3+ does not have any obstacle-avoidance features which means it can get stuck on things such as power cords or socks, and it can have difficulty navigating across surface transitions, such as from hardwood to carpet.

iRobot recommends you clear out areas in which the i3+ EVO will vacuum before you use it, including getting rid of any clutter or toys it might encounter. Its greatest advantage over the Eufy is its self-emptying bin that removes major maintenance sources and lowers the cost of recurring maintenance.

We were also awestruck by the i7+’s compatibility with Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant AI services. We used these services to instruct the robot vacuum sale on how to begin or stop cleaning sessions and also to move around the room and to vacuum a particular area. The iRobot Home App made it easy to connect the i7+ with these services. Once connected we were able to use the i7+'s voice commands like "Hey Alexa, vacuum the master bedroom." The iRobot Home App also offers options for managing i7+ settings and evaluating the performance.
