What is an Item Upgrader in Pokemon Go?

The item upgrader adds a new widget to the top of the Angel and Cash Upgrade windows. This Manager costs 33 billion Angel Investors and offers no gameplay benefit aside from making it easier to view and buy upgrades.

The amount of upgrades you perform will determine the amount of extras you receive. Each upgrade boosts the additional benefits by an increment of 1 up to a maximum of three. Each upgrade will also increase the main stats by +1.

Some upgrades also give you additional random boosts in addition to stat boosts. These boosts can be important and should be considered when deciding on which items to upgrade. Some of these boosts are useful in specific builds (such as Whistan's shield in FB sorcs) while others can bring a great deal of value to specific collectors.

Some items have a built-in boos which is less effective when upgraded. For instance the Goldwrap offers an additional potion slots. These are often upgraded to add more value to a nearly perfect item.

Costs

There are a few costs associated with item upgrades. The most significant cost is the upgrade itself. This price is contingent on the item's new ilvl and the number of perks it receives and is often expensive. It can also be costly to upgrade an item to a higher tier (such as Explorer > Champion, or Veteran > Heroic).

The other is the cost of materials required to upgrade. These items are typically Power Dices (dropped from monsters 21+), Minerals and Erons, or specific Mists Of Pandaria or Warlords Of Draenor Quests. The amount of these materials required can be seen in the inventory of an upgrade vendor.

It takes time to upgrade an item. It could take as long as 8 hours, depending on the size of an upgrade. The base stats of the upgraded item are calculated based on its new ilvl and other characteristics. This calculation determines the new Armor Class bonus, damage dice, and other important stats. In some cases the upgrade will provide additional benefits that can be chosen from a list of available perks.

Rarely, the benefits acquired will cost more than one perk slot to acquire In these instances, the upgrade will only replace the most expensive perks. Sometimes, the upgrader may make other changes to an item, such as changing the type of weapon damage or removing or adding an operative or unwieldy property. The cost for these modifications is based on the item's current ilvl and may require a special material like the adamantine alloy.

Success Rate

item level upgrade upgrades are based on an opportunity, and like any random system, there is an opportunity that the upgrade won't be successful. There are a number of ways to increase the chances of success. This includes the use of an Upgrade Pity, or the addition of additional materials to your upgrade.

An Upgrade Pity is a product you can buy from the smithing NPC in Lost Ark. It increases the chance of the upgrade being successful by a percentage. This is similar to the luck bonus certain items offer however it is more reliable. It can be added to any weapon or armor and is able to be used up to three times.

It is also possible to add a range of additional materials to the upgrade, thereby increasing its chance of success. These materials are displayed in a separate window above the + button. There are a few limitations. The maximum amount of material you can upload is shown directly above the + button.

Another method to increase the chances of an upgrade items achieving success is to use an item known as the Blacksmith Blessing or an upgraded version of it. This item can be useful if your weapon or piece is close to or has reached the maximum level of its level. This item upgrading lets you upgrade the equipment to the next tier without the risk of it breaking.

If an upgrade is unsuccessful it will be restored to its original state. This is usually an error, but it could also be an upgrade. It is a good idea to save upgrades for when you're near the maximum level of an item, and use it as an option last resort.
