The mopping capabilities of the S8 Pro Ultra are also impressive. It can apply constant pressure to the pad that is over 6 Newtons for a thorough clean. It also features an automatic mop lifting system, which lifts the pad when it goes from tile to laminate, hardwood to carpet and rugs, thereby avoiding soaking these types of soft surfaces.

Additionally it is also the S8 Pro Ultra has self-washing and self-drying capabilities. The pad can be used for rinsing and then drying within the dock. The dust bin will automatically empty before returning to the dock. You can set it and forget about it. It is only necessary to refill the water tank, or change the dust bag every now and then.

All this is powered by a lithium-ion 5,200mAh battery. The S8 Pro Ultra ran on its normal vac- and mop-settings for around 160 minutes before beginning to lose power and returned to its base to recharge. This is within the range of the 180 minutes that Roborock claims, and is on par with other hybrids that I've tested.

This is a very robust and well-rounded product with the only downside being the fact that it's costly. But its abundance of features makes it a very appealing choice for anyone looking to ditch their old stick vacuum and mops. We highly recommend this vacuum for those who can afford the cost.

2. Dreametech L10S Ultra

The Dreametech L10S Ultra is a premium mop and robot vacuum mop cleaner robot. Its high-end price is justified by its powerful feature set, which includes an impressive vacuuming capacity as well as two gyrating mops. It has an app-enabled smart controller and an advanced obstacle-avoidance system.

The L10S Ultra is one of the most expensive robotic vacuum and mop combos available with a suggested retail price of 999 euros. In my testing it did well across all areas of the house, removing 98.4 percent of debris from all floors and managing to lift long hair without getting caught in. The mops also performed well and produced excellent cleaning results with less effort than mid-range models due to their rotational motion as well as a strong dose of cleaning solution.

However, the L10S Ultra's most significant selling point is its innovative multifunctional docking station. The docking station empties the dustbin into a bag to collect dirt, refills the water tank to use for mopping and even dries your mop pads. It also comes with a real-time safety detection system and lets you schedule regular cleaning sessions with its smart controls.

In contrast to the other hybrid vacuum mops I've tried and compared, the L10S Ultra doesn't offer advanced debris removal on carpets. The mops of the L10S Ultra aren't as effective at removing stubborn stains as the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.

Despite the L10S Ultra's premium features, it still requires regular maintenance. To prevent the growth of mildew or unpleasant odors, the base unit, dustbag, and water tanks need to be cleaned, emptied and dried regularly. The mop pads sold separately will require replacement every few months.

With the L10S Ultra's pricey price tag and extensive functionality, I would recommend it to anyone with the budget for it. If you're on a tight budget I would suggest a less basic model that will allow you to save money and still enjoy hands-free cleaning at your home. It's important to remember that even the L10S Ultra is the best robot vacuum and mop you can purchase however, its cost and constant maintenance will eventually make it more of a desire rather than a requirement.

3. Eufy S1 Pro

Eufy S1 Pro is the robot vacuum and mop you need to clean up messes and clean dirt off your floors. This powerful robovac/mop set-up is a mighty 8,000 Pa suction power. It also boasts an enormous battery capacity that can be used for mopping and vacuuming. It is also equipped with an excellent obstacle-avoidance system. It even comes with mop rollers that clean itself as it moves, which makes the S1 Pro stand out from other models that need to return to their base station mid-clean to clean the mop pad.

The S1 Pro uses a unique mopping system that is a significant difference from the microfibre pads and spinning discs used in other robots. The roller is nearly the entire width of the robot vacuum reviews, and it is supplied with a continuous supply of clean water that is filtered and ozonated from the dock. As it rotates, the roller scrubs your floors while soaking up dirt, and any dry debris is removed by the side brushes or swept away into the front colision bumper. The S1 Pro removes the mop water that is dirty into its base station where it is sucked by the heater elements of the tank and it is emptied into a bigger storage container. The tank onboard holds plenty of water and can handle about half a dozen mopping sessions before running dry.

The S1 Pro comes ready to use right out of the box as do most robotic vacuums/mops. The S1 Pro needs to be refilled with clean water. This is easily done using the cleaning dock. You can also add cleaning solution to the dock, should you prefer the option of using your own cleaner. If you decide to use this feature however, you'll have to purchase the Eufy-branded cleaning solution which is more expensive than other robot vacuum best brands, allowing you to choose your preferred brand of cleaners.

The S1 Pro performed well in the coverage and efficiency of navigation tests, as did most robots. It was fast to map a room, and it was able to navigate through furniture. The only problem is that it got stuck a couple of times on larger pile carpets and rugs during my testing however this could be improved as the software is updated. The S1 Pro is a very powerful robot that can be bought at a reasonable price.

4. Roborock Qrevo

The Qrevo is Roborock's entry-level mop and vacuum but it does have some outstanding features. Its multifunction dock empties the robot's dirtbag, and refills its water tanks, as well as washing and sanitizing mop pads as it moves. The mopping system is able to be able to clean a large area prior to returning to its dock. The vacuum's powerful suction is great for picking up pet hair and other debris from carpets.

The software that runs the appliance is quite dense, and offers a variety of options for customizing the cleaning process. You can clean manually all areas that are mapped by this device, or select individual rooms, an expandable zone or a routine you've created. There are many mopping options, including SmartPlan -an algorithm that makes use of the sensors of the mops to determine the most efficient way to tidy your home as it maps the space.

The Qrevo was a great performer in our tests, as all Roborock models we've evaluated. Its navigation system is robust it can map rooms quickly and cleaning them in an organized way. The default pathing setting does an excellent job of covering a room, leaving no major gaps or missed areas. The Reactive Tech hazard avoidance system works fairly well, too, though it's not as advanced as the color camera system found on the Qrevo Master or the S8 Pro Ultra. It can identify the dangers of carpets that are thick, but it may not always recognize smaller things like rug tassels or electrical wires.

One of the biggest flaws of this device is the absence of a mop after vacuum option which could be an issue for people who do a lot of vacuuming before cleaning with their robot vacuum cleaners best. Thankfully, there's an easy alternative: the app has the option to "clean up" at the end of each vacuuming session. This lets you utilize the vacuum's mopping capability to get rid of the last traces of debris and dust that you've left behind from the vacuuming. It's a nice addition and helps the robot make its clean better than its cheaper rivals.
