Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades

Upgrades can sometimes increase the performance of a piece of gear and at times even add additional features. The value of these upgrades is determined by the levels of gear, their requirements and how many random augmentations are made available.

The most powerful racial Shield Razortail, for example, is usually upgraded to improve its lightning absorption function in PvP or add additional defenses to missile-based designs in the PvM. This makes it more tradable than the perfect non-upgraded version.

Reroll Tokens

Reroll tokens allow you to reroll an item you have acquired like armor, weapon, or ring. This replaces the item with another of the same kind and comes with different benefits. Reroll tokens can be an economical method of upgrading equipment. However, they don't retain the same level as the original item and any resources that are wasted won't be compensated for.

The survivors can get Reroll tokens in a variety of ways, including the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. They are also available in crates and chests or buy them at the market for $150 each. Reroll tokens can be used to alter the attributes of the equipment that could include increasing its damage or granting it a brand new stat.

Players can roll equipment with three categories: physical power, spell power, and health. Upgrades to physical power increase damage from weapons and melee attack while upgrades to spell power boost mage attacks and ring. Health upgrades provide the player with additional health.

Three types of reroll tokens are available: upgrade rare, legendary and rare. Each upgrade elevates the item to higher quality. To produce them, you need a higher-quality reroll token. Upgrades with enhanced capabilities require a common item, rare upgrades require a special or a legendary item, and legendary upgrades require three legendary items.

The marker that rerolls, unlike markers or tokens placed on action spaces remains on the space until the next Success is rerolled. This lets you avoid wasting upgrades.

Blueprints appear as envelopes at the beginning of each Preparation Stage, and can be opened by grabbing them with Interact. When they are opened, they display an explanation and icon for the Appliance or Ingredient. Blueprints can be exchanged for a new Appliance or Ingredient in the restaurant's store for a small amount of coins.

In the end, blueprints can be moved between the Staple Pool (which is the default pool) and the Non-staple Pool during a game. This alters the blueprints the restaurant's shop has available to reroll, and those that are in the Non-droppable Pool.

Growthstones

In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to upgrade weapons, armor and accessories. These stones are special stones that increase the value of an item by improving its stats or characteristics. They can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the major towns. Contract Coin Merchants will sell them for a fee. These stones can also be purchased by players who complete daily contracts.

To upgrade gear to upgrade gear, players must first locate the item upgrades and then click the "level up button". This will display a menu that shows the item's current status and what it will be after being upgraded, along with the required amount of Growth Stones to do so. The number of Growth Stones required to upgrade a piece of gear will depend on its rarity. Most often, rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, while uncommon armor requires just one green or blue Growth Stone.

After deciding on what to upgrade, players must then select the number of green Growth Stones they wish to use and pay the corresponding cost. Once the requirements are fulfilled, the player may then click on the upgrade button to apply the Growth Stones to the item. This will increase the item's level a certain percentage. Based on the rarity of the item, the upgrade process can take anywhere from seconds to minutes.

The upgrade process is safe and doesn't impact the durability of the item. It's an excellent option for players who wish to get an edge in combat but don't want to strain their wallets. By clicking on the "transfer tab", players can also transfer their experience and progress of an upgraded item onto an entirely new piece of equipment.

The process of getting Growth Stones in Throne and Liberty can be daunting for new players. There are many ways to obtain the stones. You can sign contracts and purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants, defeat Abyssal Contracts, obtain them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book or get them from reward chests during the Ancient Arena Season. Players can also break down higher-level Growth Stones into multiple lower-level stones.

Leveling

Leveling is an option that allows you to increase the effectiveness of weapons and armor. You can also upgrade trinkets and helms. It is achieved by the combination of an item with upgrade components at the Upgrade Station, paying a fee of Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The process will consume the upgrade components and grant the item an upgrade level, giving the item a boost in that particular area. This process can be repeated until the highest level of an item upgrader kit is reached.

Items with upgraded stats will be displayed as a blue icon next to their slot. Contrary to enchantments upgrade components do not stack with one another, and can only be added to one item at one time. Furthermore, each upgrade component will require a specific quantity of items to be applied and an initial amount for the equipment.

The Upgrade Station is divided into two slots. On the left side, players can place an item that they wish to upgrade. On the right side, a preview shows what the gear will look like at its next level. Once the player has enough items by pressing the yellow arrow, it will initiate the upgrade process.

A piece of equipment can be upgraded a maximum of five times. Each time an item is upgraded, its base stats will increase by a small amount. The highest level for an item is 19.

When an item is at its maximum capacity and is no longer upgraded, it does not have the option to upgrade. Once a piece of equipment is upgraded to a certain track (e.g. Upgrades for the Veteran or Explorer track will be discounted.

Upgrade components are a form of equipment that can slot into weapons, armors trinkets, gathering tools and other trinkets to provide an extra effect or attribute bonus while the equipment is equipped. They can be purchased through vendors, looted or obtained through questing. They can also be traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced with new ones. However, this can cause the old upgrade to be destroyed.

Requirements

Items upgrades allow players to boost certain stats of armor and weapons they already have. The requirements for upgrading an item upgrading vary depending on the kind of item, but typically you'll need Dilithium and a number of Upgrade Tokens (various options are available).

The items can be upgraded by adding item level upgrade upgrade components to equipment and weapons. This gives them extra effects or an increased level of the item. The upgrades can be acquired through a variety of sources in the game, including crafting, purchased at the Trading Post or karma vendors or looted from bosses or raids, or dropped from dungeons. Once an upgrade component has been placed into an object, it is not able to be removed or replaced. However, glyphs can be swapped freely.

Upgrades can boost an item's Mark Level or Rarity. Some upgrade components also have additional modifiers that can improve the item's stats.

The helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" For instance, increases the base defense and provides an additional 20 percent chance to block. The dps "Wildfire", on the other hand, increases weapon damage.

Some items are better off being upgraded less because of their improved stats, but more because it lets players get the most value from a flawless roll on the item level upgrade. For instance, a flawlessly rolled 200/6 504 armor set piece is highly valued in the melee PvP community and could be worth 20-50x more than the non-upp'd version.

If you choose an upgrade component that you want to put into an item the game will show an open window that displays the required requirements. The game will display the required requirements when you select an upgrade component to slot into an item.

If you've fulfilled the requirements for upgrading, the game will place the item in your inventory and the progress bar will change to show how close you are to completing the upgrade. You can also verify the status of an upgrade by going to any item upgrader NPC.
