A few hundred dollars cheaper than the S8 and this robot vacuums best does an excellent job of keeping my home office tidy and is able to take on the corners of my cramped apartment. It makes use of laser mapping and a camera to make an image of your area and knows where to stay away from. It also has a detector for objects and obstructions that will stay clear of things like toys and dog bowls (but not Poop), unlike many vacuums.

Other amazing features include a self emptying dustbin, a mop that is self-washing and adjustable for water temperature and a side-reaching brush that can reach areas that other mops cannot reach. You can also set your own cleaning schedule in the app and set custom the settings for each room of your home.

It has the same multi-room smart mapping as the S8 and can distinguish between carpets and laminate with high-pile rugs. It also lets you skip mopping rooms that are not clean if you want to save time. If you're looking for a flexible robot vacuum and mop that is able to manage regular maintenance and touch-ups on wet messes, this little robot is a good choice. It has a wide range of features including self-emptying dustbins and an additional water refill dock, and customizable settings in the app. It's quite quiet, and it can move around furniture legs and socks with ease. It can't pick tangled rug tassels up and its battery drains faster than other models we've tested.

The Q5 Pro, with a price of less than $250, is a beast that provides an impressive suction and easy automation in a sleek. It wasn't as efficient as the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra in our vacuuming tests however, it performed very well. It comes with a variety of cleaning options, ranging from the low-power 'Quiet mode which is suitable for small debris to the incredibly powerful Turbo mode for carpeted areas. It even has the ability to automatically remove and replace its mop pads without getting your carpets wet.

8. K10 Plus

The K10 Plus is an excellent robot vacuum and mop that can be used even in small areas. It's quiet and quick and does a good job of maneuvering around tight spaces. It also does a very excellent job of pulling pet hair out of carpeting.

It's smaller than the majority of its competition, but it doesn't sacrifice features. It has a good robot vacuum amount of suction power and it is able to take a picture of every object it picks up (i.e. chew toys or socks) and mark them as 'not found' in the app so that they aren't taken up in subsequent cleanings. The photos are encrypted and aren't tied to your account.

It's great at vacuuming, but not so good in mopping. It uses disposable wet wipes that you clip to the bottom of the bot and then it drags them across your floor. Compare this to the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra or Narwhal which have water reservoirs, and automatically wash and attach their mophead.
