If you're looking to save money and don't require a stroller that doubles up as car seat carriers the Babyzen Yoyo is a good option. It has a simple one-step foot brake that's flip-flop friendly.

It's simple to push, and it feels solid when you are navigating kerbs and woodland paths. Additionally, it's easy to fold.

1. Babyzen YOYO2

The Babyzen YOYO2 has earned itself a reputation as the most lightweight buggy for jet-setters and city dwellers alike, thanks to its nimble maneuverability and single fold pushchair-down that fits into aeroplane overhead luggage. The most recent version features independent suspension on all four wheels that is made of Hytrel Elastomer, which allows it to effortlessly navigate across all types of surfaces and terrain'.

The frame's base YOYO2 frame along with the curved fabric bassinet and the 6+ month color pack create a stylish pushchair that is easy on the eyes with a subtle yet elegant design and a tasteful branding. The frame's weight alone is just over a kilogram and is so light you can easily lift it from the box (and do it using one hand).

The hood, for example, snaps on the YOYO2 in a reassuring manner. It's also machine washable at 30 degrees which helps avoid the stains that result from smushed carrot puffs and rice cakes. It can be used as a pram right from birth using the Newborn Pack or bassinet, or converted to a stroller from 6 months old by clicking on the YOYO Connect additional chassis.

2. Evenflo Pivot Xplore

Evenflo Pivot Xplore stroller wagon is a great option for parents seeking an adaptable stroller. It transforms from a stroller to a wagon by simply turning the single handle stroller, which means parents can choose the mode they prefer for their trip. The wagon can accommodate one or two kids from 6 months old to 5 years, and it comes with a spacious storage basket to accommodate everything you require on the go.

The Xplore has two canopies that can rotate from front to back, offering adequate sun protection for the entire family. It also has a footwell that's not as large or deep as some wagons, so it may not be suitable for longer trips or napping.

The frame of the Xplore wagon is solid and sturdy, but it does not flex like other wagons we tried. It is also more difficult than other wagons to fold, and it isn't able to lock securely when folded. It is easy to maneuver, though, and it can fit through narrow 28-inch doors.

3. Delta Children LX Side by Side

This Delta Children bare-bones travel stroller is a great option for parents who are looking for a secondary stroller that is affordable. It earned an eye-catching score in our Strollers & Multiples test for weight and folded size, which means it's very lightweight, small when collapsed and easy to lift into a car trunk or closet. It also comes with the option of reclining in multiple positions and an adult cup holder. Other important features include two large hanging storage bags and 360-degree front wheels that are shock-absorbing.

In our test of push and turn, it did better than many of the other strollers of a similar price we tested, but it's still not the most maneuverable over uneven ground or through doorways that are narrow. The sunshades on it were among the smallest of all strollers we test. They only cover the top of the stroller and don't have windows that peek out. The UPPAbaby G-Link 2 has a much larger canopy.

The Delta took us just over three minutes to assemble with an average manual and no components required tools. It's missing some features that we consider essential in double strollers. These include an extra-large basket, reclining seats, and leg rests that can be adjusted.

4. Maxi-Cosi Zelia 2-in-1

The Zelia is Maxi-Cosi’s newest pushchair that is advertised as a travel system for urban use. It is suitable from birth until 3.5-years-old. The seat and carrycot can be easily converted with just a few clicks. It can be used with Maxi-Cosi capsule car seats and comes complete with the lightweight Mico 30 infant car seat, stay-in-car base and a reversible baby carriage.

It's really easy to manoeuvre and the one-hand reclining of the seat and the super large shopping basket make it simple for parents to get their child in and out of the seat quickly. This compact pushchair can handle all day bumps and doorways with ease.

The front wheels can be locked into a forward position or allow them to rotate which is helpful when traversing rough terrain. While walking on the stony path, we let them swivel and it did this quite well, though it did appear a little bumpier than others in our test.

5. Baby Jogger City Tour 2,

Baby Jogger is known for their all-terrain, 3-wheeler pushchairs for jogging, but they also make a good range of 4-wheeler strollers. City Tour 2 is their most loved model. It is easy to use and folds small enough to fit in a car boot even with the carrycot attached.

It's a little heavier than other strollers we tested but the wheels are rubber composite so it feels well-made and durable. It is easy to maneuver across different terrains and even with two children with shopping bags and other things.

Both the seat and the carrycot come with hoods that can be removed to reveal the UV50+ sun canopy extension. They are durable and waterproof, unlike other hoods for prams, which can be blown back onto toddlers' faces.

It doesn't have a lot of storage space, but it does have a big basket that's big enough to hold a changing bag and plenty of food items. It can also be connected with the Baby Jogger infant car seat to create a travel system for babies up to 20 lb (car seat and adapters sold separately). If you are looking for a stroller that can be used on the road, then the City Tour 2 is an excellent choice.

6. Nuna Mixx Next

When the Nuna Mixx first appeared on the scene, it instantly captured the hearts of parents across the world. It is an aluminium-framed stroller that can be used from the infant's first days until. It's got a few notable features, including the possibility of flipping the seat between parent and the world, a large UPF 50+ canopy with an eye shade that flips out as well as a large basket and adjustable handlebar.

The wheels are durable and foam-filled which minimises punctures and the chassis has built-in suspension that takes the sting out of bumpy terrain. It was simple to push, and our tester was able manoeuvre the vehicle through the narrow streets.

It locks automatically and folds in just four steps. It can also be rolled and stood up for easier transportation down the stairs or in the car's boot. It also comes travel system equipped with the ability to add a car seat and a carrycot using the adaptors that come with it. The brakes are only one action and are color coded. They also work with flip-flops.

7. Babyzen Duet

This budget pushchair is easy to use and comes with a fantastic dual suspension. It can be folded with one hand and comes with a convenient carrying strap. It is also lightweight and sturdy. The seat is reclined in several positions. It comes with a built-in double breathable mattress that's suitable from birth.

The canopy/seat has two large sun visors, which can be fixed or removed. Both are UPF50+. The toggle closure isn't the best because it's not as quiet as Velcro and could cause sleepy babies to wake up.

The Duet is a side-byside single stroller with bench seat and can be adapted to accommodate twins or siblings (up to a maximum of 22kg per seat). It's compatible with two infant car seats and even can be used with carrycots. In twin mode the seats can be set so that they face each other. They can also be set towards the parents. This will help lessen sibling fights over who sits with mom and dad. It has a huge bottle holder, gear tray, snack trays and the ability to change mats. It also has an automatic frame lock as well as a compact fold.

8. Baby Jogger Urban Glide 2.

The Thule Urban Glide 2 is a jogger designed for parents who want to keep active. It's among the lightest strollers that you can buy for your child. It also has great safety features, such as a 5-point safety harness and wrist safety straps. It also features a twist hand brake which is different from the lever type that is found on other models.

The Urban Glide 2 isn't compatible with infant car seats or bassinets as of yet, but you can use it from day one by purchasing adapters for most seats by brands such as BOB, Graco, Combi, Evenflo, Britax, and UPPAbaby. It is easy to fold and assemble within 5-10 minutes, without tools. The instruction manual is easy to read and contains a variety of languages.
