Our tester found the auto-lock a bit confusing, and since the handlebar doesn't lock in its position when you push it to the side, it struck her leg when she was using it. She also thought that the handlebar was on the shorter side. This is especially the case when a large bag for changing hangs from it.

In contrast to other travel buggies that are lightweight, this doesn't skimp on features and is one of the most feature-packed double strollers that are available. It's compatible with two carrycots (available separately) and has multiple recline positions, and comes with an UV 50+ canopy. You can also add an additional bassinet to either or both seats to create an all-in-one travel system.

The four rubber composite tires are ideal for pavements and urban terrain. However, they are not made for off-roading. They had trouble with long grass and gravel and there was not enough clearance between the wheel bracket and the wheel, so mud stuck easily. Our tester loved this vehicle and was able to climb some beautiful dirt hills.

2. iCandy Orange

The iCandy Orange double buggy is the ultimate in style, versatility and quality. It is a must-have item for parents looking for a stylish, high-quality double buggy that lasts. It has a luxurious, interchangeable canopy that is both water-resistant and air-conditioned. It comes in trend-led colours such as Pistachio, Fossil, Latte and Rose on a Jet Black frame. The option to add an integrated ride for older siblings is also available.

The 2021 update comes with few enhancements, including improved manoeuvrability, a larger shopping basket, and a new bumper bar that has a leatherette cover. The seats are moulded and are really comfortable. The seats can also be adjusted, so they can be placed according to the needs of siblings. iCandy has introduced the first "cinema seating" design that allows parents to keep eye contact between both children. They can also be moved to face either parent or world facing.

It's a heavier tandem buggie however, it's very easy to use and drive particularly on smooth roads. It is stable in both double and single mode and even on sloped ground. It's not as easy to use on public transport as it requires two hands on the handlebar. It's also large and can't be stuffed into a standard car boot with the seat attached, but this can be overcome by careful planning. iCandy includes an infant footmuff and a changing bag in the cost, so it's an excellent value package for parents who are just starting out.

This is a light tandem stroller. It has two non reversible seats, suitable for infants up to 3 years of age. The rear seat can also accommodate a car-seat.

It has an easy and simple to use folding mechanism that makes it ideal for storage and travel. It also comes with a large basket that is perfect to store your baby and toddler's essentials.

The Joie Evalite Duo double stroller with infant car seat buggy is a fantastic option for those who are just starting out, since it is affordable and easy to operate. It is also extremely light and makes it easier to push for long distances. It also has a high-quality suspension system, which ensures the smoothest ride for parents and kids.

This is an elegant and practical city buggy that is suitable for twins or a baby with a toddler, or even three children with the addition of UPPAbaby's "PiggyBack board (sold separately). Its sleek frame and small double buggy dimensions make it perfect for shopping malls and narrow streets in cities. Its swivel wheels on the front and four-wheel suspension allows it to cope with slightly rough or uneven terrain.

Our testers found that the Nipper Double is incredibly easy to navigate, even on bumpy terrain or when turning on an area with a lot of traffic. They were also awed by the fact that both seats recline independently, which means they can be adjusted to suit individual needs - ideal for napping.

They also appreciated that the hoods could be moved back and forward and back, making them much easier to adjust in the sun or for wind protection. They didn't provide as much coverage as the Baby Jogger City Mini Hoods. It might be worth having an extra rain cover in case.

Overall, our test participants were impressed by the Nipper double's ability let them take their twin daughters Sydney and Lyla to all kinds of adventures. From exploring the forest for wildlife to rushing to a park to play with their friends they were thrilled. The testers were also awed by how comfortable and spacious the two seats are. There is plenty of room to stretch out for growing toddlers. The lack of parent facing seating and the inability to use car seat with this buggy were noted as a problem by our testers. They would have also preferred a larger storage space for shopping and other gear.
