WoW Upgrades - The Item Upgrader

Upgrades give a guaranteed boost to specific stats. Each upgrade increases the level of an item by 3. A random substat is also added to each upgrade.

Upgraded gear is generally more valuable, unless the item has a low requirement by nature (like FB sorc shields) or has a high variance in stats (like the eth Titan weapons). The latter are less valuable from upgrading due to the necessity to roll for a perfect model.

Recycle Points

The item upgrader allows players to upgrade gear to a higher item level by providing the appropriate currency to the NPC. Upgrades can be made on any type of weapon or armor. However, the item used for the upgrade will be consumed forever and will not be able to be used again. Upgrades can also be applied to the enchantments.

The upgrader can be found in all major cities and can be visited at any time to upgrade your equipment. It is recommended to visit the upgrader once every couple of weeks to keep your equipment up to date.

The cost of upgrading will depend on the current level of the item upgrader kit being upgraded, but will always be less expensive than purchasing new equipment from other sources. Upgrades like upgrading a Benthic chest to ilvl385 will cost you 20 recycle points. Buying a similar item will cost you 105.

Valorstones

Upgrades are items that can be used to purchase weapons, armor, tools and accessory upgrades. They can be bought by players through item upgrader kit upgrader NPCs in exchange for various currencies, and may also be found in random treasure lists. Once an upgrade is purchased it can be applied to any weapon, tool, or armor with an button, which displays an image of the item upgrader mod at the next upgrade level if the player has sufficient materials.

The upgrade cost depends on the slot of the item and the current level of the item and the weapon's price is higher than bracers or gloves, for example. Each upgrade item costs 15 Flightstones plus a certain number of crests. Certain upgrades provide discounts on Flightstones. Once an item has been upgraded to a certain amount, it can be downgraded and sold to the upgrader for a lower price.

This allows players to upgrade their equipment to the highest level possible on all of their characters, instead of relying on seasonal loot.

It's also essential to use crests in a wise manner, as they only have one use. It is recommended to use your Whelpling-rank Crests on the best gear that you can find, and keep Drake and Wyrm Crests for the next set of upgrades. This is especially true for items such as trinkets and rings that take up several slots. The discount for the entire account will only be applicable if all the slots on the character are filled with top-quality equipment.
