World of Warcraft Upgrades and Item Upgrading

Upgrades can increase the value of armors, weapons and rings. Upgrades also increase bonuses such as Crit chance and PvE Damage.

For instance a weapon that has the upgrade template that ends in % will take on an attack damage of 3% each time it upgrades (relative to its previous value).

Item upgrading costs crests and the current level of the item. The cost increases as the level of the item rises.

Components

Upgrade components can be incorporated into trinkets, armor, and weapons to provide them with a boost in stats or an extra effect. They can be acquired through crafting, buying from vendors trading or looting. Certain upgrades have unique cosmetic effects.

Upgrade components can be inserted into equipment that has a slot to accommodate them; the item must be at a minimum upgraded to blue level in order for the component to be inserted. Upgrade components, unlike other mods can only be applied once. They are not able to be replaced or applied several times. Infusions and Enrichments are kind of upgrade component that is used to upgrade non-amulet legendary or ascending equipment, as other items that are not ascended. Infusions and enrichments can be obtained by salvaging equipment from the ascended state or completing a mission in the Prophecies, Factions, and Nightfall campaigns.

An upgrade can have a prefix or suffix that alters the name of the item to which it is used (for instancefor example 'Canthan Armor Insignia" becomes Canthan Armor of Minor Vigor). Certain upgrades boost the Mark Level or Rarity, allowing players create stronger versions of that equipment with fewer Upgrade Crystals than are required to achieve the same level of upgrade through normal methods.

A 'boost' upgrade can change the attack or defense attributes of the weapon or armor. These upgrades can be made from the Portative Forging Station once the player has completed the cutscene and defeats the Crazed Mechanic. They can be dropped by enemies when upgrading other gear, or by buying them from the cash store for 500 upgrade crystals.

Each upgrade increases the likelihood that a better-quality version of an item will be revealed during the next reset. This gives the player some incentive to keep improving their equipment, even if they're unsure of how much it will improve after a future reset.

The process of upgrading an item can be expensive and it is likely that the item will become obsolete, or even break, when the upgrade fails. Upgrade Crystals and assist powders are also destroyed when an upgrade fails. This is mitigated by the availability of cash shop items that increase or even eliminate the possibility of failure, and some upgrades that provide the benefit of being reinserted into an item.

Glyphs

Glyphs can be used to enhance the Paragon Board by placing them in sockets with special functions. Glyphs increase the power of all nodes within their radius as well as existing affixes on equipment. Glyphs can be upgraded in a variety of ways. We suggest upgrading them as soon as you can to level 15.

It is commonplace to see in the endgame that placing Glyphs is a great way to upgrade your gear. They are the only upgrade component that can be upgraded to level 15 and give a significant boost to your power on the Paragon Board.

Most of the upgrades in the game can be replaced however, Glyphs are only the one upgrade component that can be removed and re-placed without restriction. Only legendary equipment can be salvaged and replaced with the aid of a Black Lion Salvage Kit.

The value of each Glyph is displayed when you select it in your inventory. You can replace it with another Glyph that is the same or higher rank to boost the value of the Glyph.

Glyphs can be found in the Black Lion Trading Post as part of an Gem Store bundle or purchase the glyphs with certain tools that allow unlimited use as well as during Faction Crypt Raids. Leveling

The item upgrading system lets players increase the performance of specific items by putting upgraded components into them. This is referred to as "upping". Each item level requires different components, and the cost of upgrading increase with each level.

Some upgrades require an ingredient to be activated. This ingredient is obtained from finishing Upgrade Recipes. These points can be used to level the item, and once enough points have been earned, the upgrade can be claimed and any additional bonuses will be added to the item.

When a player upgrades an item to a higher level, the original item is replaced with a different item of the same type. The same armor will receive the form of a weapon or shield when upgraded. The new item also comes with its own set of bonuses. This could be a problem, as it can cause the item to become more expensive if you don't require it.

If the player has enough tokens, they can roll item upgrader mod upgrades. The item will be replaced with an entirely new item that has a base of level 1 and completely different bonuses. This can be useful for certain items, however it shouldn't be repeated often, as it can waste lots of resources.

Some upgrades can be rerolled several times which increases their value and allows the player to modify their equipment. An excellent example is Dolphin's Gift, which gives an increase in power when a player repeatedly enters and leaves the water (or is able to swim like dolphins). It is possible to upgrade it several times, each time increasing the max roll by an increment of 10. Requirements

If an item is not able to upgrade, the amount of accumulated experience in its growth bar is reset to zero. In addition the item will be deducted any bonus it earned such as crit chance, attack damage, and all additional effects associated with the effect (for instance, an increase in heal over time or reload speed). The player is able to use their weapon or armor after the failure.

When an item is upgraded, the upgrades are applied from the lowest to highest. This means that, if a weapon gains an increase in crit chance it will be applied prior to any increase in attack damage. Slots is a brand new attribute that has been added to item definitions. The value is recalculated every time an upgrade occurs.

The amount of resources required to upgrade an item are based on its rarity rating and upgrade slot count. The cost for upgrading non-premium products is equal to the base value of the upgrade. For instance, a typical equipment item might have 5 upgrades with a cost of 25,600 Technology Points and a 4x Quality Improvement Chance. Hero grade items will come with a much lower cost for each additional upgrade.

Premium items have different upgrade items requirements in comparison to standard equipment. For instance, they may require fewer sowels but more minerals and erons. Players will still have to take every piece of gear they wish to upgrade to NPC [ArmorBoboko. Boboko located in Central Flarine. Each upgrade of equipment requires different amounts of the ingredients for upgrading, in addition to the cost mentioned above.
