The City Mini is an ordinary full-size stroller. It's best known because it is light and compact. It also scores well in all of our categories. However it doesn't score higher than some of its peers because of a poorly-placed peek-aboo and storage that's somewhat obstructed.

This is a great stroller for families that require something to get them through the everyday and occasional adventures. It has a wide footrest that is well-padded. This makes it comfortable for little ones. The seat reclines to a pretty flat position, however we found that it was a bit tricky to do and took two hands. The adjustable calf support is a nice feature that will allow your child to lift their feet if they're tired.

Like the other strollers we have reviewed The City Mini has a huge canopy that is UV50 and that parents rave about. The sun shade is beautifully constructed and is able to pull all the way down which is great because it keeps your baby well protected from the sun without having to constantly put it back into place.

Another great characteristic of the City Mini is that it can be converted into double strollers by attaching an accessory kit. This gives you the option of using any Baby Jogger car seat and creating a travel stroller system right from the start. The only downside to this is that the addition of the second seat can alter the look and feel of the stroller and some parents may be a little unsure to manage once they are used to it.

Another option to the City Mini is the City Mini GT Double Stroller. The model is a little more expensive than the single City Mini but it does come with some additional features, such as "forever air" rubber suspension and tyres that make it suitable for off-road adventures. It has a movable handlebar and parking brakes that can be operated by hand and a more user-friendly design than the standard City Mini.
