Both robots are adept at picking up surface debris off carpets and hard floors and they are very good at moving around furniture and other obstacles. iAdapt navigation software makes a smart map of your home to assist the i3+ to navigate and clean efficiently. The i3+ isn't able to have the same obstacle avoidance capabilities as the i7+ or other top-rated robots that we test. It may get stuck on power cords and socks, and may have trouble navigating between different surfaces like rug and hardwood.

iRobot suggests that you clear areas in which the i3+ EVO will vacuum prior to when you use it, which includes getting rid of any clutter or toys it may come across. It is also recommended to keep the dustbin and filter clear to avoid becoming clogged. If the i3+ EVO's internal bin is filled or the battery is depleted, it returns to its docking station, automatically emptying its debris into the station's external dustbin and then resumes cleaning the area where it began. The i3+ EVO's battery can last for about an hour and a half of continuous use. It takes about three hours to fully recharge.

2. Roomba by iRobot

The iRobot i7+ is an excellent model from iRobot's flagship line and comes with the latest features. It has self-charging and self-navigating. However, the most significant feature is its auto-emptying bin. This removes the need for routine maintenance.

The Roomba i7+ can keep up to 10 floor plans and their names with Imprint Smart Mapping, which lets it create maps of rooms so that it can clean them more efficiently. It also works with iRobot Home to schedule cleaning jobs, and you can direct your robot using the app or voice.

The i7+ is quicker and more maneuverable in our tests compared to the eufy RoboVac G30. It also cleaned large pet hair pieces from all surfaces including carpeting. We were also impressed by the i7+'s integration with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant AI services, which we used to instruct the robot to start, stop or pause its cleaning session and move around the room, and even vacuum an area.
