World of Warcraft Item Upgrades

The upgrading of your equipment is a crucial element of equipping your character. Upgrades increase the base damage and the enchantments of items.

They also offer bonus effects and improvements. The Blacksmith is able to sell them to you.

Players can recycle any item by pressing the upgrade button on it. Every item recycled adds level to the gauge for upgrading.

Weapon

When a weapon gets upgraded, it will gain an initial damage bonus as well as an adjustment factor that affects other stats. The weapon can also gain a variety of upgrade components, which provide additional features or effects as well as unique cosmetic effects. These upgrades can be inserted into weapons, armor, trinkets and gathering tools, and most require that the equipment has an available upgrade slot and meet certain requirements. Once a weapon or armor piece is equipped with an upgrade component it, it is able to be replaced with another, but the prior upgrade will be destroyed (except for legendary equipment and upgrades). Upgrade components can be retrieved by using a Black Lion Salvage Kit or Ascended Salvage Tool, or using a high-tier salvage tool on the item upgrader itself.

A weapon can also be upgraded to include a calibration attribute that increases certain stats, like Weakspot damage or Crit Rate. This is accomplished through the Gear Workbench's interaction menu. This can be repeated four times depending on the weapon level.

After the weapon has reached its maximum upgrade items and is then modified to give different bonuses and effects, or to improve specific stats. Several of these upgrades can be applied at once, and the effects vary depending on the rarity of the weapon.

There are two Blacksmiths in the game who can perform these upgrades: Blacksmith Hewg in the Church of Elleh hub area as well as Smithing Master Iji on the Road to the Manor Site of Grace. Both upgrade materials are different: Smithing Stones to modify the kind of damage a weapon deals and Somber Smithing Stones to alter the standard weapons.

In general, it's advisable to upgrade your weapon damage first. Then you can improve your armor defense, and then, the secondary stats required by your build. In particular, it's common to see melee druids upgrading their weapon before any other gear, as this helps maximise DPS. This is particularly true for enchantments, which can be extremely efficient in increasing a weapon's damage and other stats.

Armor

In addition to enhancing the defense base of an item, a few upgrades also offer specific abilities that can be activated while wearing an armor. These abilities can be very beneficial in combat. For example they can increase attack speed or block. Certain upgrades provide effect that are passive and can be useful like the ability to reduce damage while wearing armor, or increasing the chance of avoiding an attack.

Depending on the type of armor being used, upgrading an item can require multiple attempts. If a player wishes to upgrade Steelclash armor to Dragonscale The first attempt will result in a brand new Dragonscale armor with an armor base defense of 59-67. The second attempt will result in a brand new Dragonscale armor that has the base defense between 67 and 77 and the list goes on.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild lets players to upgrade their armor sets to level 4. To do this, they must visit each of the four locations referred to as Great Fairy Fountains in the game. Each of these locations contains a fair with a great power that can improve a piece of armor for you.

Despite popular belief armor isn't useless in The Division 2. Certain armors give a substantial boost in the reduction of damage from poison or curse, magic or fire. Potion

A potion can be upgraded by putting it in the brewing stand to unlock new effects. The upgrade unlocks a new tier of potion effect, and can be repeated for higher levels of potency.

The potion also gets a custom color code that the player can pick using /give and which can affect the area-of-effect clouds as well as arrows produced by the potions. In Bedrock Edition the custom potion colour also applies to the particle effects of the potions.

The water bottle, mundane potions that are thick and awkward now have a new texture for brewing. Added potion of weakness and healing potion in the Creative inventory. Addition of lingering potions, that can be prepared using splash potions or Dragon breath. Additionally, there is a thick potion that has the status effect Mining Fatigue. Trinket

A trinket is an ornament that is inexpensive or a piece of jewelry. It could be a ring or necklace. Or, it could be a tiny banner used to mark the yard of a boat. It can also be a gilded trinket that is connected to the mast of a vessel.

This macabre trinket is believed to be influencing the inhabitants of this maze which makes them more prevalent. The trinket, at its current level makes all types Xx of mimics more common and gives each floor an A% chance that it will contain an ebony copy. This trinket costs a moderate amount of energy to upgrade.

The magic of the enchanted Scepter appears to alter the dungeon's environment by increasing the probability of producing water and grass. This trinket at the moment, will cause X% of regular floors to be filled with grass or water. It will not affect enchantments, glyphs, cursed weapons or armor or items that are generated to solve the dangers in rooms.

While it looks like a normal newt's eye, this mysterious object appears to be affecting your vision in ways other than simply reducing your field of view. At the moment, this trinket can increase the total health benefits of drinking potions of healing, waterskins and wells of health by X% and grants mind the ability to see enemies within the Y tiles. This trinket does not stack with the Increased Senses.

Skull Cavern is where you will find Trinkets after completing the Mastery Cave. You can find them by defeating Monsters, and in chests and crates. They aren't found in the Mines or Volcano Dungeon.

If you have a trinket that requires upgrading put it in the Anvil to upgrade it. This will cause an unintended effect on the trinket, either extending its lifespan or strengthening its effects. You can reforge a Trinket as many times as you like, but it will always have a different effect than the one you had when you forged it.

You can also enhance your Trinkets by placing them in a magical catalyst at the Alchemy Station. This will cost you 6 energy and increase the power of the trinket by a small amount.
