It also doesn't come with an image sensor that lets it see the corners of an area.

Still, it's very good, especially if you want to save money on a iRobot Roomba and you have a bare-floored home or office. It's also very quiet and you can use it while you're at work, or school. The only thing it's missing that you don't get in the pricier iRobot Roomba X30 is edge-to-edge vacuuming on floors that aren't clean. It's also less effective when it comes to mopping. It relies on disposable wet wipes that don't stick very well and cannot handle dried-on debris. The Q5 has an auto-emptying dock, however. If you're required to, the mopping pad can be replaced with an awe-inspiring one in a matter of just a few seconds.
