The Eufy S1 Pro

If you're looking for a robot vacuum that also mops then this is the model you should go for. It's smaller than the other models on this list making it easier to navigate into tight corners and underneath furniture. It has a 220-degree lidar, which when combined with its 3D Matrix camera system gives it the best robot vacuum cleaner and mop navigation and object avoidance that I've ever seen in a robotic vacuum. It's powered by a 4600mAh battery that can last up to 170 minutes when cleaning and sucking are set to standard mode. (It can run longer on turbo). It will even return to the dock to replenish its battery part way through cleaning.

It's extremely efficient and does a great job of cleaning my two bedroom apartment. It can vacuum carpeted rooms fast and hardwood floors in the living room, kitchen, and hallways with just one pass. Its 8,000pa suction motor makes short work of picking up sand, dirt and pet hair. Carpet detection automatically boosts power when it encounters rugs and the two side brushes help draw away debris from corners.

The mopping performance is a little less impressive, but not by a lot. The rotating mop spins at a high speed and is pushed down with 2.2lbs of force, easily scraping away dirt and stains. I've noticed that the front arm extends out a little more than other robots. This is helpful in difficult corners or on baseboards. The same front arms can be employed to clean larger pieces of debris, such as broken toys and books.

The S1 Pro is also one of the quietest robot mops and vacuums I've tested. It doesn't make the same amount of noise when mopping or vacuuming, and is much quieter than the Narwal Freo X Ultra or RoboRock S7. The S1 Pro is only limited by the fact that it needs to utilize a specific mopping solution and is sold separately. It's easy to install and works well however this is something you'll have to be aware of when you purchase this vacuum for the sole purpose of it mopping.

The Roborock Q Revo

The Q Revo stands apart from the majority of robot vacuums which mops in its class. It is a powerful cleaning machine with a wide range of features.

The device comes with a powerful cleaning system that incorporates LiDAR sensor technology and an RGB camera. This enables it to map out your home, find furniture and other obstacles. This information can be used to clean effectively and efficiently. This will result in an efficient, consistent clean that's also fairly fast.

In terms of mopping, the Q Revo's DuoRoller mop pads are capable of reaching an array of surface areas. They can reach corners, baseboards, and other hard-to-reach spots. They also have a stretchy side brush that can extend to reach the floor near walls and other fixtures. Additionally the mop pads can be washed and dried to prevent the build-up of dust and reduce the odors.

The filter will need to be cleaned after 150 hours and the mop pad must be replaced every one to three months.

This robotic vacuum cleaner has an excellent rating on Amazon and includes a broad range of physical automation features. It has a power button that serves as a general "Clean' button and a 'Home button that will take it back to its base station after finishing the cleaning process. It also comes with a multi-functional dock that automatically emptys the dustbin, refills its water tank, and cleans and drys its mop pads.

The Shark Matrix Plus

If you're a professional with a lot of work or someone who wants an organized home that doesn't require hours doing chores then the Shark Matrix Plus is a good option. It is a powerful machine with intelligent navigation, and a long battery life that makes it easy to keep your home clean with little effort.

The Matrix Plus is a 2-in-1 robot autonomous vacuum and mop, that is, it can do both vacuuming and mopping. The robot is divided into two modules which include a dry bin and water tank that can be snapped in and out and a mopping module which is equipped with an elastomer pad. It's not the most modern thing to have separate modules for mopping and vacuuming however it does mean that you don't have to worry about changing disposable bags or refilling the tank with water.

Our testers discovered that the Matrix Plus did a great job of vacuuming as well as mopping. Its best automatic vacuum cleaner feature was its accurate map of your floorplan that it uses to determine a route when cleaning. The Matrix Plus was able to navigate easily through rugs, furniture and other obstacles. The app lets you create 'No-Go Zones' or virtual barriers to prevent certain areas from being cleaned by mopping.

The Matrix Plus also did a amazing job of collecting hair from pets. It was able to capture an enormous amount of hair that our cats shed, and even got into the nooks and crannies of our stairs while other robots struggled. It was quiet and had some pleasant jingles that signalled when it was starting or completing its task.

The app was too simple and you had to change the modules each time you changed between vacuuming and mopping. The app can't save multiple maps. This could be a problem if your home has multiple floors. The Matrix Plus is a good option for those who want an intelligent robot that can perform both mopping and vacuuming.

The Yiko X1 Omni

The X1 Omni is the most expensive robot vacuum that mops in our test, but it has some distinct features that are worth a look. The X1 Omni is most well-known for its enormous dock that serves as a charging base for the robot, a sink for cleaning and two water tanks of 4 liters. It also houses a 2.5-liter dust bin as well as a 2.5 dust bin that is 2.5 liters.

The base also comes with a set of buttons to control the system. These allow you to manually start cleaning, recall the robot, or use the dock's best automatic vacuum and mop emptying process. Press two buttons to switch off the child lock. This is a wonderful feature for parents worried about their children playing with the vacuum.

The Omni Omni, like other robotic vacuums uses its camera to identify obstacles and furniture that are in its path. It will avoid them. Its True Mapping 2.0 navigation system can map your home 10 times faster than laser detection systems and is four times more accurate at recognizing objects.

Unfortunately this means that the X1 Omni can sometimes get so entangled with an obstruction, such as a power cord draped across a rug that it becomes stuck and stops working until you free it. This was a rare occurrence, but frustrating nonetheless, because the X1 doesn't have an "stuck status" alert on its app.

Another possible issue is one of the biggest drawbacks is X1 Omni's inability to automatically switch between vacuuming and mopping modes during a cleaning session. You will have to manually switch between the two modes, which isn't too bad however, the mopping pad doesn't get washed or dried between uses. This can cause mildew and mold.

On the bright side the X1 Omni is a beautiful-looking robot thanks to the design team at Jacob Jensen (of Bang & Olufsen fame) who conceptualized its sleek, modern-looking base and mopping pad. It's a big contrast to the utilitarian, all-black bases used by competitors like Roborock and iRobot and is a refreshing appearance in a market that is dominated by clunky boxes and clunky models.
