The Cloud scored one of the lowest scores in our tests of quality because it has a flimsy, hard plastic seat and a design which is dated. It's also costly compared to other lightweight strollers and is therefore not a good choice in the event you're looking for an economical option.

Although it's not the tiniest double stroller, it does have enough features to be worth a look. Its swiveling front wheels make it easy to move on flat surfaces, and it can jump curbs with little effort unlike many other light strollers that drift off course when trying to do the same thing. The Cloud's low, nearly knee-high handle has a disadvantage. It's not adjustable and it's not adjustable. It's difficult to push it while your legs hang like that. The lack of padding doesn't make it any easier.

In our tests, we discovered that the Cloud was easy to set up and opened. It's a little more challenging to close the cloud, however. You have to slide a slider and then push a large white button to get it to collapse. This can be a hassle, especially if you're juggling kids while doing it.

The Cloud comes with a tiny but spacious storage basket. It's big enough to fit an enormous diaper bag. It's not the greatest width, though you'll probably need to leave something inside for the back to retrieve it. The Cloud includes an adult tray and a child tray, each with two cup holders. But both are too small for larger cups or bottles.

The Kolcraft brand has been in operation since 1946 and is a third generation family-owned business. Their first products included diapers and crib pads and now they manufacture an array of baby items including highchairs as well as infant car seats, strollers and toys. The company is based in Chicago and is an American manufacturer.

Jeep Destination Ultralight SBS

Jeep Destination Ultralight SBS is an extremely lightweight, minimalist double stroller that's great for traveling. It's light at 18lbs (lighter than many single to double pushchair strollers!) It folds flat, making it easy to transport and store. It also has independently reclining seats as well as large SPF 50 sunvisors with a peekaboo view. The visors are adjustable to fit children of different heights. Plus, it has an integrated one-step parking brake that is Disney-sized approved.

The swivel wheel of the Jeep is also great for navigating over bumps and uneven terrain. The stroller does not accept car seats, so your little ones must be at least 6 months old and have solid neck control in order to ride in the front seat. The stroller does have an umbrella sun canopy with three panels and each seat comes with a cupholder and snack tray.

Valco Baby Snap Duo Trend is another incredibly lightweight side by side stroller. It's heavier than the Kolcraft Cloud Plus at 23 pounds, but it's thin and slim (26.5 inches wide!) and has a ton of elegant features that make it perfect for travel. It's a simple fold, is very maneuverable and can be tucked away in airplane overhead compartments and trunks easily.

Like the Summer Infant 3D Pac CS+ Double and Mountain Buggy Nano Duo, the Joovy Kooper X2 is another tri-fold ultralight double stroller. It's similar to the Jeep Destination Ultralight SBS but has some key distinctions. It's a bit more expensive, but it offers a more shady sun canopy and more maneuverability. It also comes with a handy carry strap that can hold children up to 44 pounds per seat.

Summer Infant 3D Pac CS+

Summer Infant 3D Pac CS+ is a lightweight stroller with a lot of features. It's not just lightweight at just 13 lbs but also comes with a ton of storage options, including cup holders for the parent and child as well as a sippy-cup pouch for children, a parent's storage pocket and more. This stroller is also able to fit the car seat of a child and comes with a brake that is easy to engage that can be used flip-flop. This stroller is designed to expand with your child. It can be transformed from a baby stroller to a toddler stroller by attaching the car-seat adapters (sold separately) and it's suitable for children aged 6 months and older.

This stroller has only swivel-wheels and no locking feature which means it won't be the best option for terrain that is steep or rocky. It is able to maneuver well on paved sidewalks and other smooth surfaces, however, so it's still an excellent option for most families.

This stroller is among the lightest double strollers that has large features in a sleek compact design. The quick-close feature lets the stroller to fold with just one hand, and it's small enough to be easily stored in your garage or trunk. It can also be used an infant stroller and is compatible with most car seats without the need for extra adapters.

The sling-style seats are comfortable, and they offer the same amount of headroom as other double seat stroller strollers. This allows kids to sit together. In contrast to other strollers that are side-by-side this one Kooper X2 offers a fully reclined seat that's a great option for napping. The recline mechanism is simple to operate, but it doesn't go completely flat. Children who are taller may notice an unbalanced leg when they sit and stand double stroller in a reclined position. It also comes with a large canopy, which we found to be superior at blocking out the sun than other strollers in our best double strollers review.

The stroller is light enough to easily navigate through door frames, which was a big issue for us with some other models in our testing. It folds easily and the handlebars are close to the ground. The only drawback is its relatively small storage space, which feels cramped when full of kid stuff.
