Their flagship vehicle is the EV Star Cab & Chassis platform, which is able to accommodate many different body designs and upgrades for a variety of applications. The platform's design philosophy of clean sheets allows the best battery pack placement and lower center of gravity, which results in better payload-to-range ratios.

The EV Star REEFERX was designed for mid-to last mile refrigerated deliveries as well as catering applications. The refrigerated truck's class 4 design's one wall structure inside and higher insulation than traditional trucks allow for seamless sanitation, improved temperature control and a more extended life. The EV Star REEFERX provides superior capacity for cargo and an industry-leading payload to reach the range of zero-emission freight or passenger transport.

GreenPower has joined forces with Perrone Robotics to up-fit the EV Star with their TONY (To Navigate You) autonomous vehicle system, which will allow fleets to seamlessly change to autonomous vehicles. The AV Star will also be capable of wireless charging up to 75 kW.

We had the chance to test drive the EV9 for several hours on a local freeway and found it easy to drive and comfortable for long distances. The EV9 is able to suppress the sound of traffic and wind driving on the highway. It is smooth on ruts and humps. The acceleration is surprisingly quick and the vehicle has adjustable regenerative braking to enable "one pedal driving" by taking off the accelerator.

The EV9 has excellent range and can be fully charged in just three hours at home or with any commercial charger. The driver has the option of choosing between two operating modes: eco mode and sport mode. The eco mode is a preference for torque and cruise control while the sport mode maximizes speed and handling. Both modes are enjoyable to drive, and offer an experience unlike any other for those who haven't experienced driving an electric vehicle before.

In addition to the EV9, GreenPower has several other electric vehicles, including a multi-purpose electric mini bus called the EV Star. The EV Star is ADA-compliant and can be used as executive shuttles, transit or microtransit buses, vanpools, or paratransit vehicles.

GreenPower produces around 10 EV Star buses per month for Jacksonville Transit Authority. The Jacksonville Transit Authority is replacing their fleet of diesel vehicles with 100 all-electric cars. GreenPower will increase production to meet the demand of the Biden Administration, which is looking to electrify all school buses in America. Their EV Star bus is the first of its kind to be tested by Altoona and FMVSS-certified, Buy America compliant and ADA certified. This means they'll be eligible for federal transit assistance grants.
