Subjectively, I discovered that the GP500 had very accurate grayscale OOTB. I found a DeltaE value of just 2.3, which is less than the amount visible to the eye. This is quite good. The Dynamic Contrast function was a great help in bringing the depth to Life of Pi's few night scenes and the color display was superb. Avatar looked very good as well.

GP500 Black

The GP500 is Pinlock Max Vision-ready and tear-off ready too with opening tabs on both sides of the shield. It features an automatic shield lock to stop it from opening during riding (or in the event of an accident). The double-d ring fastener is on the rear of the helmet. It's non-tool-operated.

The auto-focus was very effective and produced clear images with many distinct shades. It did struggle with the darker scenes in Life of Pi, but otherwise, it gave a cinematic look.

There aren't any race rep graphics available for the GP500 however, you can buy Airoh Sectors and Cosmos with a black finish. You can also buy it with Rockstar, Drive and Check graphics for a more focused track look.

This model also comes with extremely durable puncture-proof tires that will make sure you do not get flats while out and about.

Other important features include 3D playback that is activated by the built-in DLP-Link glasses. It's nice to see this projector still support this feature, considering that some brands have dropped it.

The GP500 White also has several regular and not-so-common quality of life features such as Keystone and Corner Fit (which is digital image warping). These can be useful for less-than-ideal installs as they make it easier to display a flat image. They do, however, degrade the quality of the image. This is a critical aspect to keep in mind. The GP500 produced very clear and distinct colors and was a fantastic grayscale performer OOTB.
