World of Warcraft Upgrades and Item Upgrading

Upgrades increase the value of certain numeric stats on armor, weapons and rings. Upgrades also boost bonuses like Crit chance and damage from PvE.

For example a weapon that has the upgrade template that is ending in % will suffer an attack damage of 3% each time it is upgraded (relative to its previous value).

The cost for upgrading items increases when they reach the item's current level. The cost increases as the item's level increases.

Components

Upgrade components are items that can be slotted into armor, weapons, and trinkets to provide an extra stat boost or effect when they're used. They can be obtained through crafting, buying from vendors or trading with other players or looting. Certain upgrades have unique cosmetic effects.

upgrade items components are only available to devices that have slots. The item must be upgraded to blue before a component can be applied. Upgrade components, unlike other mods, can only be applied only once. They cannot be replaced or applied multiple times. Infusions and enrichments are a type of upgrade component that can be used to upgrade non-amulet legendary or Ascended equipment, as well as some non-ascended items. Infusions and enrichments can be retrieved by salvaging ascended gear or completing an elite task in the Prophecies, Factions and Nightfall campaigns.

A prefix or suffix may be added to an upgrade, which alters the name of the item it is applied to (for instance, 'Canthan Armor Insignia',' changes to Canthan Armor Minor Vigor). Some upgrades increase an item's Mark Level, or Rarity, which allows players to create stronger versions of the equipment using fewer Upgrade Crystals than are required to reach the same upgrade level through normal methods.

A boost upgrade can alter the attack or defence characteristics of a weapon, or armor. Once the player has completed the cutscene and defeated the Crazed Mechanist These upgrades can be made at the Portative Forging Station. They can also be dropped by enemies when upgrading other gear, or by purchasing them from the cash store for 500 upgrade crystals per.

The player can have the maximum of five boost upgrades at one time; each upgrade increases the chance that a higher-level version of the item will be available at the time of the next reset. This gives the player an incentive to continue upgrading their gear even if they're not sure of how much they'll increase after a future reset.

The process of upgrading an item can be expensive and it is likely that the item will become obsolete or even break if the upgrade is unsuccessful. Upgrade Crystals and assist powder are also destroyed if the upgrade fails. This is reduced by the availability of cash shop items that can double or even eliminate the chances of failure, and a few upgrades that give a bonus when reinserted into an item.

Glyphs

Glyphs can be used to enhance the Paragon Board by placing them in sockets with special functions. Glyphs boost the power of nodes within a radius, which includes any pre-existing attaches. Glyphs can be upgraded in various ways, and we recommend upgrading them to 15 levels as soon as you can.

In the endgame you'll find that the Best item upgrade way to improve your gear is by placing Glyphs. These are the only upgrade component that can be upgraded up to level 15 and provide a significant boost to your power on the Paragon Board.

Most of the upgrades in the game can be replaced, however, Glyphs are only the one upgrade component that can be removed and re-placed without restriction. The only exception is legendary equipment that requires a Black Lion Salvage Kit to salvage and then re-install.

The value of each Glyph is displayed when you choose it in your inventory. You can replace it with an Glyph that is of the same or higher rank to increase the value of the Glyph.

There are Glyphs in the Black Lion Trading Post, as part of the Gem Store purchase or bundle with certain unlimited-use gathering tools as well as through Faction Crypt raids. Each Faction Crypt can drop one of these Glyphs. There are also some rare glyphs which you can find in any of the Faction Crypts.

Once you have obtained the desired Glyphs, you will have to attach them to your equipment. Each Glyph unlocks a special bonus that boosts a specific set of stat nodes in a radius surrounding the Glyph. Based on the Glyph it could be +40 to one of your primary stats or +25 to two of your secondary stats.

Glyphs will boost all nodes connected to them, so it is best to place Glyphs in strategic spots on the Graph. This will maximize the impact. For instance that a Druid should try to position their Glyphs near their primary damage points, but you should also consider placing them near critical damage nodes as well.

Leveling

The item upgrade system allows players to boost the power of certain items by adding upgraded components. This is referred to as "upping". Each upgradeable item has an amount that determines the final stats. Upgraded items can be leveled up to a maximum of ilvl 385. Each item level requires a different number of components and the cost of upgrading increase as the item gets leveled up.

Certain upgrades require a certain ingredient to activate. This ingredient is obtained from finishing Upgrade Recipes. These recipes can be purchased from NPCs or found on the upgrade tab in the crafting table. Each Upgrade Recipe that is completed yields a certain number of Technology points. These points can be used to level the item. Once enough points have been earned, the upgrade can be claimed and any additional bonuses will be added to the item.

When an item is upgraded by a player, the base item is replaced with a different item of the same type. This means that the same armor piece will become the form of a shield or weapon when upgraded. The new item will have its own set bonus. This could be a drawback, as it can make the item more expensive if you don't require it.

Item Upgrades (Maps.Google.Cat) can sometimes be rerolled, if the player has enough tokens to do so. The item will be replaced with the same item, but it has a level 1 basis and totally different bonuses. This can be useful, but should not be repeated often since it could waste resources.

Some upgrades can be rerolled several times which increases their value and giving players the ability to alter their equipment. One example is Dolphin's Gift, which gives a buff when the player is repeatedly in and out of the water (or swims like a dolphin). It can be upgraded multiple times, each time raising the max roll by 10 points. This item is highly useful in PvP. A perfectly rolled version could be worth as much as 50x the value of the non-upgraded version.

Requirements

The upgrader for items allows players to raise the level of their equipment (armor weapons, weapons trinkets, and armor) above ilvl385 by presenting the appropriate currency to the NPC. Upgrades to armor set pieces also boost the defense of the base set, while upgrades to weapon items boost their base damage and also increase their strength and dexterity.

All items can be upgraded up to five times, with the exception for hero equipment, which can be upgraded eight times. Every time you upgrade an object it has a chance of failing. The failure rate increases when you exceed the maximum number. Failures will cause the item to go to its original condition, which requires the user to spend more money on materials than they would had they stopped upgrading at the maximum number of upgrades.

If an item upgrader mod is not upgraded the experience bar in the bar for growth will be reset to zero. Additionally, the item will lose any bonus it earned, including crit chance and attack damage, as well as all other effects that are associated with that effect (for instance, a higher healing over time or the speed of reloading). The player is able to use their weapon or armor after the failure.

When an item is upgraded, the upgrades are applied from the lowest to the highest. Hero quality items will have the lowest cost for each upgrade.

Premium items may have different upgrade requirements from standard gear. For instance they might require less sowels, but they will require more minerals and orons. Regardless, the player will have to visit the NPC [ArmorBoboko in Central Flarine. Boboko in Central Flarine with each piece of equipment they want to upgrade. Each upgrade of equipment will require different amounts of ingredients for upgrading, in addition to the cost that are listed above.
