The S8 Pro Ultra also has self-washing and self-drying capabilities. The pad can be cleaned and then dried with the dock and the dust bin is automatically emptied and returned to it. You can set it and forget about it. You will only need to refill the water tank, or change the dust bag every now and then.

This is all powered by a lithium-ion 5,200mAh battery. I ran it on its normal vac and mop settings for about 160 minutes before the S8 Pro Ultra started to get power hungry and return to its base for a recharge. This is not far off of the 180 minutes Roborock claims, and is on par with other hybrids I've test.

This is a highly complete and robust product, with its only downsides being that it's expensive. However, its sheer abundance of features makes it a very tempting alternative for anyone who wishes to ditch their old stick vacuum and mops. We would highly recommend this vacuum if you can justify its cost.

2. Dreametech L10S Ultra

The Dreametech L10S Ultra robot vacuum and mop is an expensive combination. Its premium price tag is justified by its robust features, which include an impressive vacuuming capacity as well as two gyrating mop mops. It also comes with an app-based, smart controller and powerful obstacle avoidance technology.

The L10S Ultra is one of the most expensive robotic vacuum and mop combinations out there with a suggested retail price of 999 euros. In my tests, it performed well across the house. It removed 98.4% debris on all kinds of floors and was able to lift long hair without tangling. The mops also performed well and produced excellent results for cleaning with less effort than mid-range models. This was thanks to their rotational movement as well as an effective dose of cleaning solution.

The docking station is the main selling feature of the L10S Ultra. It's multifunctional and modern. The docking station empties the trash bin into a bag that can be used for dirt, fills up the tank with water to use for mopping and even dries mop pads. It features a real-time risk detection system, and its intelligent controls allow you to schedule periodic cleaning sessions.

In contrast to the other hybrid vacuum mops I test and compared, the L10S Ultra doesn't offer advanced debris removal on carpets. The mops in the L10S Ultra aren't as effective in removing tough stains as the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.

Despite the L10S Ultra’s high-end features, it requires regular maintenance. Its base station has to be cleaned, and the water tank and dust bag should be cleaned, empty and dried regularly to avoid mildew and unpleasant odors. It is also important to keep in mind that the mop pads, that are bought separately, must be replaced regularly too.

I would recommend the L10S Ultra to anyone with the budget. If you're on a budget, I recommend a more basic model that lets you to save money and enjoy hands-free cleaning at your home. It's worth noting that even it's true that the L10S Ultra is the best robot vacuum and mop you can buy however, its cost and maintenance costs will ultimately make it more of a desire than a necessity.

3. Eufy S1 Pro

If you're looking for a robot mop and vacuum that can clean up dust and dirt on your hard floors, while taking care of wet messes then you should look no further than the Eufy S1 Pro. This powerful robovac/mop combo has a powerful suction capacity of 8,000 Pa. It also boasts a large battery capacity that can be used for both vacuuming as well as mowing. It's also fitted with a top-notch obstacle-avoidance system. It even comes with mop rollers that clean itself while moving this makes the S1 Pro stand out from other models that need to return to their base station mid-clean in order to rinse off the mop's pad.

The S1 Pro uses a unique mopping system that is a major departure from the microfibre pads and spinning discs of other robots. The roller is almost the entire length of the robot and it is supplied with a continuous supply of fresh water that is filtered and ozonated from the dock. The roller scrubs the floor while collecting dirt. Dry debris is removed using the side brushes or swept away into the front collision bumper. The S1 Pro then discharges the mop water that is dirty into its base station, where it is sucked up by the tank's heating elements and is poured into a larger storage container. The tank onboard holds a good amount of water, and can handle about half a dozen mopping sessions before going dry.

The S1 Pro comes ready to use straight out of the box as do other robotic vacuums and mops. The S1 Pro does need to be refilled with clean water. This is easily done using the cleaning dock. You can also add a cleaning solution to the dock in case you want to have the option of using your own brand of cleaner. However, if you do select this option you'll have to purchase the cleaning solution from Eufy which is more expensive than other robot brands that permit you to use your personal cleaner of choice.

As with most robots like it, the S1 Pro did well in navigation efficiency and coverage evaluations. It was fast to map a room and it was able to navigate around furniture. It was stuck on carpets with larger piles a couple of times during my tests. However this could be improved by updating the software. The S1 Pro is a very capable all-in-one robot for an affordable price.

4. Roborock Qrevo

The Qrevo is Roborock's entry level mop and vacuum but it does have several impressive features. The multi-function dock emptys the robot's dirtbag and replenishes its water tanks, as well as washing and sanitizing mop pads as it moves. The mopping system is capable of cleaning a large portion of an area before it has to return to its dock and the vacuum's powerful suction is capable of picking up debris and pet hair that accumulates on carpets.

The software that runs the appliance is complex, and offers various options to customize the cleaning process. You can manually initiate the full map and then clean of everything that the device maps, or you can choose individual rooms, expandable zones or even a routine that you've created. SmartPlan is one of the mopping options. It makes use of the sensors on the mop to map the space and determine the most efficient way to clean it.

The Qrevo was a great performer in our tests, just as all Roborock models that we've evaluated. Its navigation system is efficient by quickly mapping rooms and cleaning in an organized manner. The 'Normal' setting for pathing does a great job of covering a room, leaving no major gaps or missed areas. Reactive Tech's hazard avoidance function works well too, but it is not as advanced as the color camera systems on the Qrevo Master and the S8 Pro Ultra. It can identify the dangers of carpets that are thick however it won't always be able to detect smaller items like rug tassels or electrical wires.

This device has a major problem: it doesn't include a mop option after vacuuming. This could be a problem for people who vacuum frequently prior to using their robot. There's a good alternative: the app has an option to "clean up" at the end of each session.
