WoW Upgrades - The Item Upgrader

Upgrades can give you boost in certain statistics. Each upgrade increases item level by +3. Each upgrade also boosts an unspecified substat.

The upgraded gear is usually more valuable, unless the item is not required by nature (like FB sorc shields) or has a large variance in stats (like eth Titan weapons). Upgrades are not as important for the latter because of the requirement to roll the perfect version.

Recycle Points

The item upgrader allows players to upgrade their gear to a higher item level by supplying the appropriate currency to the NPC. Upgrades can be applied to any kind of armor or weapons. Upgrades are items that are used to level up weapons tools, armor, and other items. They can be bought by players from NPCs who sell upgrades for items in exchange for a variety of currencies, and may also be found in random treasure lists. Another significant change is that crests have one purpose and it's crucial to use them wisely. It is recommended to use your Whelpling-rank crests on the best gear you can find, and keep Drake and Wyrm Crests for the next round of upgrades. This is especially relevant for items like trinkets and rings that fill several slots. The discount for the entire account will only apply when all the slots on the character are filled with top-quality equipment.
