The XL Air is a really impressive car, and it's easy to see why it has received so many high marks from its customers. It is incredibly lightweight - the wheels and chassis weigh only 6.5kg. It's extremely easy to put together. In fact I was able complete the entire setup and running in just five minutes, which is pretty amazing given that it included attaching the fabric for the carrycot!

The seat is wide and comfortable for Annie, who is just 12 months old. The recline lever was simple to use. The basket is spacious with plenty of space, and I am impressed that the handle bar has an area to keep your phone and keys secure.

The handlebar is a bit low, which could be an issue for parents who are taller. But, it's covered in a lovely leather-like material that's soft and comfortable, and it wipes down easily, making it still easy to push with children and bags on your hands!

The front wheel is lockable and can be swiveled to increase the flexibility. It also comes with a cushioned 5-point safety harness and front bar to ensure your child is safe throughout your journey, while the parking brake reliably prevents the stroller from moving while you take a break. The comfortable seat is simple to recline to a lying position and the canopy opens to reveal netting for optimum air circulation during hot days. The handle can be adjusted by more than 30 cm to accommodate dad's or mom's heights.

It's their newest and most expensive addition to the bargain lightweight stroller line. Similar to the Ickle Bubba Aurora or Yoyo it's car seat-compatible, so you can use it from the time of birth.

The new Pace has some fantastic design elements, including a rose-gold shade on the hood, chassis, and stroller trims that truly set it apart. The cream, grey, and tan fabrics in the stroller and the car seat are elegant and there is an option to add the handle for the cover and bumper bar, too.

It is suitable from birth up to a maximum weight of 22kg. The stroller seat converts easily from a carrycot to a 2-in-1 reversible mode, facing the parent or the world. The stroller seat features multiple lie-back positions, softly padded legs rests and an extended sun canopy with zip-off sections that are concealed with a view-through flap, and retractable visor.

When folded, the Pace measures 56 x 43cm x 32cm, which allows it to be used as hand luggage on Easyjet and Ryanair. It's also a breeze to collapse, with two buttons on either side of the handlebar that just need to be pressed in and out. Then, it will pop up.

I tested it with my two children - an eight-week-old and a toddler - on rough pavements, grassy wooded walks and even cobblestones.

The wheels that are puncture-proof are large in size - 22cm and a whopping 30cm - which means they can handle lots of different terrains. The wheels come with flaps that can be opened or closed to let more air in when required. It's a bit bigger than most pushchairs, but it doesn't feel bulky or heavy when pushing it across bumpy surfaces.

The fabric for the seat is machine washable and the faux leather grips and frame are easy to clean. It's also quieter than other 3 wheeler pushchairs from birth and I was comfortable in the urban streets. One of the advantages is that it incorporates accessory points, which means you can add footmuffs, parasols, changing bags, and even a snack tray. You can also use the hood to block rain and wind, though it's not particularly waterproof. It's a single pram, but you can add their Comfort Wheeled Board (not included) to give your child a bit of legroom. It took around 20 minutes to put together the bassinet, and a similar amount of time to transform it into the seat.
