Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades

Upgrades can sometimes increase the performance of a piece of gear and sometimes even its extras. The value of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements and the amount of random enhancements that are applied.

For example, the elite shield for racial discrimination Razortail is often upgraded to enhance its lightning absorb ability in PvP, or to add additional defenses on missile based designs in PvM. This makes it more tradable than the perfect non-upgraded version.

Reroll Tokens

Reroll tokens can be used to reroll an acquired item, such as an armor, weapon, or ring. The item is replaced by another item of the same type however with different benefits. Reroll tokens are a cost-effective option to upgrade equipment. They don't preserve the original level of the item, and any resources wasted aren't rewarded.

The survivors can acquire reroll tokens through several means like the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. They are also available in chests and crates or buy them from the stores for $150 each. Reroll tokens can be used to change the attributes of the equipment that could include increasing its damage or granting it a brand new stat.

Players can roll equipment with three attributes, physical power, spell power and health. Upgrades to physical power increase the damage caused by weapons and melee attack and spell power increase the damage of mage attacks and ring. Health upgrades give the player an extra health.

Three types of rerolls tokens are available: upgrade rare and legendary. Each upgrade elevates an item level upgrade to a higher quality, with the requirement of an upgraded reroll token in order to create it. Upgrades require a regular item. Rare upgrades require an item that is either unique or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.

Unlike other special tokens and markers placed on Action spaces The reroll marker is left on the spot until the next Success result is to be rerolled. This lets you avoid wasting upgrades.

Blueprints are envelopes which appear at the start of each preparation phase. They can be opened with Interact by grasping them. When they are opened, they will display an image and description of the Ingredient or Appliance. Blueprints can be exchanged for a new Appliance or Ingredient in the restaurant's store for the amount of coins.

In the end, blueprints can be moved between the Staple Pool (which is the default pool) and the Non-staple Pool during a game. This changes the kind of blueprints that a restaurant's shop has available to reroll and which are available in the non-droppable Pool.

Growthstones

In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to upgrade armor, weapons and other items. These are special stones that increase the value of an item by increasing its stats or attributes. These items can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs in the major towns. Contract Coin Merchants will sell these stones for a cost. In addition, players can get these stones by signing daily contracts.

To upgrade their gear players first need to locate the appropriate item and then click the "level up" button. The menu will appear showing the item's current level and what it will be after being upgraded, along with the required amount of Growth Stones to achieve this. The number of Growth Stones needed to upgrade the item is determined by its rarity. Most often rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, whereas uncommon armor requires just one blue or green Growth Stone.

After deciding on the item upgrading to upgrade the player must select the number of Growth Stones that they want to use and pay for the cost. After the player has met the requirements, he can click the upgrade button and apply the Growth Stones. The item will be upgraded in level by a specific percentage. Depending on the item's rarity the upgrade process can take between seconds and minutes.

The upgrade process also is risk-free, and does not affect the item's longevity. This makes it an ideal way for players to get a significant advantage in combat without putting a strain on their bank accounts. Moreover, players can transfer the experience and the progress of an upgraded item to new one by clicking on the "transfer" tab.

The process of obtaining Growth Stones in Throne and Liberty can be daunting for players who are new to the game. There are several ways to acquire them. You can sign contracts and purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants, defeat Abyssal Contracts, collect them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book or get them from reward chests during the Ancient Arena Season. Players can also break down higher-level Growth Stones into multiple lower-level stones.

Leveling

Leveling is an option that lets players boost the base stats of weapons armor, helms and trinkets. It is achieved by adding upgrades at the Upgrade Station, paying a cost of Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The process will consume the upgrade materials and give the item an upgrade level, giving the item an additional boost in the area. This process can be repeated until the highest level for an item is reached.

Items that have upgraded base stats display a blue icon in their slot. Unlike enchantments, however, upgrade components don't stack against each other, and can only be added to one item at a time. Each upgrade component also requires a certain number of items and a minimum level of equipment.

The Upgrade Station is divided into two slots. On the left, players can add an item that they wish to upgrade. On the right, an image of the gear looks like at its next level. When a player has enough materials and has pressed the yellow arrow will begin the upgrade process.

A piece of gear can be upgraded a maximum of five times. Each time the item is upgraded, its base stats will increase by a small amount. The highest level for an item level upgrade is 19.

Once an item has reached its maximum level, its upgrades will not be available for it. When an item is upgraded to a certain track (e.g. Veteran or Explorer), upgrades to the track will be offered at discounts.

Upgrade components are a form of equipment that is able to be inserted into weapons, armors trinkets, gathering tools and other trinkets to give an extra effect or attribute bonus while the equipment is equipped. They can be purchased from vendors, looted or obtained by completing quests, or traded between players. Upgrade components can be changed with new ones. However, this could destroy the old upgrade.

Requirements

Item upgrades give players the ability to increase certain attributes of armor and weapons that they currently have equipped. The requirements for upgrading an item vary depending on its type, but you'll typically need Dilithium along with a number Upgrade tokens.

The upgrade items can be used to make set pieces and weapons for additional effects or to increase the quality item. The upgrades can be acquired from various sources in the game, such as crafting, purchased at the Trading Post or karma vendors or looted from bosses or raids, or dropped from dungeons. Once an upgrade component has been placed into an object, it cannot be removed or replaced. However, glyphs can be swapped freely.

The upgrade of an item can boost its Mark Level and/or Rarity. In addition, certain upgrade components have additional modifiers that could further increase the stats of an item.

For instance, the helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" increases base defense, and gives an additional 20% chance of blocking. The dps "Wildfire", however increases damage from weapons.

Certain items are better off being upgraded less because of their improved stats, but for the fact that it lets players get the maximum amount of value from a perfect roll on the item upgrader kit. For instance, a flawlessly rolled 200/6 504 armor set piece is highly sought-after in the melee PvP community and could be worth 20-50x the non-upp'd version.

The game will highlight the requirements once you choose the upgrade component that goes into the Best Item upgrade. These include the item type (either Armor or Weapon) and the tier of the item as well as the Upgrade Token needed, and the amount of progress required to complete the upgrade.

The game will add an item in your inventory when you've completed the prerequisites for an upgrade. The progress bar will then update to show how close you are to completing the upgrade. You can also check the status of an item upgrade by visiting any NPC that upgrades items.
