The Eufy S1 Pro

This is the model you need to pick if you are looking for a robot vacuum cleaner that also mop. It is smaller than other options which makes it more maneuverable in tight spaces or under furniture. It has a 220-degree lidar which, when paired with its 3D Matrix camera system gives it some of the best navigation and obstacle avoidance I've ever seen in a robotic cleaner and mop vacuum. It comes with a massive 4600mAh battery that can last for up to 170-minutes, if mopping and suction are set to standard mode (it is able to run longer in turbo). It will even return to its dock to recharge its battery during the cleaning.

It's extremely efficient and does a great job of cleaning my two bedroom apartment. It can vacuum carpeted rooms fast and hardwood floors in the kitchen, living room, and hallways with just one motion. Its 8,000pa suction motor will quickly pick up dirt, crumbs and pet hair. Carpet detection automatically increases power when it detects rugs and the double side brush helps to remove debris from corners.

The mopping efficiency, while still impressive, isn't as impressive. The mop's rotating mechanism spins fast and uses 2.2lbs to scrub dirt and stain. I've noticed that the front arm protrudes out a little more than other robots. This is helpful when getting into difficult corners or along baseboards. The front arms can also be used to pick up larger debris such as books and toys that have been damaged.

Another nice feature is that the S1 Pro is one of the most quiet robot vacuums and mops I've ever tried. It doesn't create as loud of a sound while vacuuming or mopping and is much quieter than the Narwal Freo X Ultra or RoboRock S7. The only issue is that the S1 Pro must use a proprietary cleaning solution for its mopping function and is separate from the vacuum. It is easy to set up and performs well. However, if you are buying this robot vacuum for mopping purposes you must pay attention to this.

The Roborock Q Revo

The Q Revo stands apart from the majority of robot hoover vacuums which mops in its class. It is a powerful cleaning machine with a variety of features.

The device comes with a powerful cleaning system that combines LiDAR sensor technology with an RGB camera. This enables it to map out the home and identify furniture and other obstacles. This information can be used to clean efficiently and effectively. This leads to an effective, consistent cleaning that is also quite fast.

The Q Revo DuoRoller mop pad is capable of reaching many surfaces. This includes corners, baseboards and other difficult to reach areas. The side brush can be stretched out to reach the floor near to the walls and other fixtures. Additionally the mop pads can be cleaned and dried to avoid build-up and lessen the odors.

You can also alter the number of passes it should make, which will determine how quickly the device can move through your home. You can even choose to turn off the side brush to prevent damaging carpets and rugs.

The device is costly, but it comes with a lot of smart features. It is important to keep in mind that the device incurs recurring expenses in the form mopping supplies and regular maintenance. For instance brushrolls need to be replaced every six to twelve months or after 300 hours. The filter must be cleaned after 150 hours and the mop pad should be replaced every three to six months.

The Matrix Plus performed well at both vacuuming as well as mopping. Its greatest feature is its precise floorplan map, which it employs when cleaning. This made it a breeze for the Matrix Plus to navigate around furniture rug, furniture, and other obstacles. The app allows you to create 'No-Go Zones' or virtual barriers to stop certain areas from being cleaned by mop.

We also noticed that the Matrix Plus did surprisingly well at picking up hair from pets. It was able to capture a lot of the hair our cats shed, and even got into the corners and crevices of our stairs, where other robots have struggled. It was fairly quiet and had some pleasant jingles that signalled when it was starting or completing its task.

Its biggest drawbacks were its lack of sophistication and the necessity to switch out the modules when switching between mopping and vacuuming. The app is not able to keep multiple maps. The Yiko X1 Omni

The X1 Omni robot automatic vacuum cleaner and mop is the most expensive in our review. However, it has some unique features which make it worth considering. The X1 Omni's biggest draw is its enormous dock, which serves as the robot's charging base as well as housing for two water tanks, a clean sink, and a 2.5-liter dust bin that automatically eliminates.

The base has a couple of buttons for control that let you manually start a cleaning task or recall the robot cleaner with mop, or run the dock’s auto-emptying procedure. Hold down two buttons to turn off the child lock. This is a wonderful feature for parents who are concerned about their kids messing around with the vacuum.

Like other robotic hoovers vacuums, the Omni Omni uses its camera to spot furniture and obstacles in its path, and then avoid them. True Mapping 2.0 navigation maps your home up to four times faster than laser detection systems.

This can cause the X1 to become stuck if it gets entangled in a blockage like a power cable draped over a rug. It won't work until you untangle it manually. While this was rare but it was a very frustrating experience when it did happen particularly since the X1 Omni doesn't come with a "stuck" status alert on its application.

Another issue that could be a problem is another issue is the X1 Omni's inability to automatically change between vacuuming and mopping modes during a cleaning session. You'll need to manually switch between the two, which isn't a big deal except for the fact that the mopping pads aren't washed and dried between use which could lead to mildew or mold.

The X1 Omni looks great, thanks to the Jacob Jensen design team (of Bang & Olufsen fame), who created its sleek modern base and mopping pad. It's a significant change from the utilitarian all-black bases that are used by rivals like Roborock and iRobot, and a welcome appearance in a market which is dominated by clunky, boxy units.
