World of Warcraft Upgrades and Item Upgrading

Upgrades can boost the value of certain numeric stats on armor, weapons and rings. They also increase bonuses, such as damage from PvE and crit chance.

For example an item with the upgrade template ending in % will suffer 3damage to attack each time it upgrades (relative to its previous value).

Item upgrading costs crests and the current level of the item. The cost increases with the item upgrades's level.

Components

Upgrade components can be incorporated into trinkets, weapons and armor in order to provide them with a boost in stats or an extra effect. These can be obtained by crafting, buying from vendors, trading with other players, or looting. Some upgrades also have specific cosmetic effects.

Upgrade components can be inserted into equipment that has a slot to accommodate them; the item must have been at least upgraded to the blue level for a component to be used. In contrast to other mods components can only be used one time; they cannot be applied repeatedly or replaced with upgrades. Infusions and Enrichments are a kind of upgrade component used to upgrade non-amulet legendary or ascended equipment, as well as some non-ascended items. Infusions and enrichments can be obtained by salvaging ascended equipment or by completing a mission within the Prophecies, Factions, and Nightfall campaigns.

A suffix or prefix can be added to an upgrade, changing the name of the item it is applied to (for example 'Canthan Armor Insignia',' changes to Canthan Armor Minor Vigor). Certain upgrades boost an item's Mark Level, or Rarity, allowing players to make stronger versions of the equipment with the smallest amount of Upgrade Crystals than is required to reach the same level of upgrade through normal methods.

A 'boost' upgrade can change the attack or defense attributes of a weapon, or armor. These upgrades are available to be made from the Portative Forging Station once the player has completed the cutscene, and defeats the Crazed Mechanic. These upgrades are available for purchase them from the cash shop or by collecting them from enemies when upgrading other equipment.

The player can get up to five boost upgrades at one time. Each upgrade increases the likelihood that a higher-level version of the item will be available during the next reset. This gives the player some incentive to keep improving their equipment even if they're uncertain of the extent to which it will improve after a future reset.

If a boost upgrade is successful or not, the process could be expensive, and there is a high risk that the item may become obsolete or even break when it fails; a failed upgrade will cause the destruction of Upgrade Crystals and Assist Powder as well as the upgraded item. This is reduced by the availability of cash shop items to increase or even eliminate the chance of failure, as well as some upgrades that offer an additional benefit when they are inserted into an item.

Glyphs

Glyphs are upgrade elements which can be put in special sockets on the Paragon Board. Glyphs boost the power of nodes within a radius, and include any pre-existing attaches. Glyphs can be upgraded in a variety of ways. We suggest upgrading them as soon as possible to level 15.

In the final game, you will often find that the Best item upgrade way to improve your gear is to place Glyphs. These are the only upgrade component which can be upgraded to level 15 and give an enormous boost to your power on the Paragon Board.

Glyphs, which is the only upgrade component which can be removed without restriction and then replaced with no restrictions, are the most common. The only exception is legendary equipment, which requires a Black Lion Salvage Kit to salvage and re-place.

The value of each Glyph is displayed when you select it from your inventory. You can replace it with a Glyph that is of the same or higher rank to boost the value of the Glyph.

Glyphs are available in the Black Lion Trading Post as part of an Gem Store bundle or purchase them with certain tools that are unlimited in use, and during Faction Crypt Raids. Every Faction Crypt could drop one of these Glyphs. There are some rare glyphs which you can find in any of the Faction Crypts.

Once you have obtained the desired Glyphs then you have to attach them to your equipment. Each Glyph will grant a distinct bonus that boosts the stats of a particular set of nodes within a radius around the Glyph. Depending on the Glyph it could be +40 to one of your primary stats or +25 to two of your secondary stats.

Glyphs will increase the number of nodes connected to them, which is why it is best to place Glyphs in key locations on the Graph. This will maximize the impact. Druids, for instance should position their Glyphs close to their primary damage nodes. They might be able to place them near their most critical damage nodes.

Leveling

The item upgrading system allows players to increase the performance of specific items by putting upgraded components inside them. This is referred to as "upping". Every upgradeable item has a level that determines its upgraded stats. Upgraded items can be leveled up to a maximum level of ilvl 385. Each level of item requires various components, and the cost of upgrading increase with each level.

Certain upgrades require an ingredient to be activated. This ingredient is obtained by completing Upgrade Recipes. These recipes are available in the upgrade tab of a crafting table, or purchased from some NPCs. Each completed Upgrade Recipe yields several Technology Points. These points can be used for upgrading an item. Once enough points are earned you'll be able to claim your upgrade items and get its extra bonuses.

When an item is upgraded by a player, the base item is replaced with a different item of the same type. This means that the same armor piece will become a weapon or shield when upgraded. The new item will have a unique bonus. This can be a disadvantage because it can make the item more expensive, even if you don't require it.

Upgrades to items can be rerolled, if the player has enough tokens in order to do this. This will cause the item to be traded for a new one, which will come with an initial level and a different set of bonus bonuses. This is a good option for certain items, however it shouldn't be done regularly, as it can use up a lot of resources.

Certain upgrades can be rerolled many times, increasing their value and giving players the ability to alter their gear. A good example of this is Dolphin's Gift, which gives a buff when the player is repeatedly in and out of the water (or does not swim as a dolphin). This can be upgraded several times, each time increasing the max roll by a factor of 10. This item can be extremely valuable in PvP, as a perfectly rolled version of it could be worth between 20 and 50x its value if it is not upgraded.

Requirements

Item upgrading (Yourbookmark.stream) allows players to upgrade the quality of their equippable equipment--armor, weapons, and trinkets that are above ilvl 385 by providing the appropriate items and currencies to an NPC that upgrades items. The upgrade of armor set pieces will also boost the defense base of the item, and upgrading weapon equipment will increase the damage base as well as the required strength and dexterity to match the requirements of the upgraded equipment.

Each item can be upgraded up to five times, with the exception for hero equipment, which can be upgraded eight times. Every time you upgrade a piece of equipment, it is at risk of failing. The probability of failure increases as you move beyond the maximum number. Failures will cause the item to return to its original condition which means that the player has to pay for more resources than if they had stopped upgrading after the maximum amount.

If an item is not upgraded the experience bar in its growth bar will reset to zero. In addition the item will lose any bonus it earned such as crit chance, attack damage, and all additional effects associated with that effect (for example, increased heal over time or reload speed). The player can continue to use their weapon or armor even after the failure.

When an item is upgraded, the upgrades are applied in order from lowest to highest. This means that the weapon that is upgraded receives a crit chance boost, the increase will be applied prior to any attack damage increases. Slots is a brand new attribute that was added to item definitions. The value is recalculated every time an upgrade occurs.

The amount of resources required to upgrade an item is based on the rarity rating and the number of upgrade slots. The cost of upgrading non-premium equipment is equal to the value of the base item. For example, a common item might have five upgrades at a cost. 25600 Technology Points 4x Quality Improvement Chance. Hero quality items are less expensive per upgrade.

Premium items have different upgrade requirements than standard gear--for instance, they might require fewer sowels, but more minerals and erons. The player will still need to carry every piece of equipment they wish to upgrade to the NPC [Armor] Boboko located in Central Flarine. In addition to the upgrade costs listed above, each upgrade will require a different amount of the upgrade ingredients.
