World of Warcraft Upgrades and Item Upgrading

Upgrades can increase the value of weapons, armors and rings. They also increase bonuses, such as PvE damage and crit chance.

For example, a weapon with the upgrade template ending in % will gain 3damage to attack each time it is upgraded (relative to its previous value).

The cost of upgrading an item increases as it reaches the current level of the item. The cost increases as the item level increases.

Components

upgrade item components can be added to trinkets, armor, and weapons to give them a boost in stats or an extra effect. They can be obtained through crafting, purchasing from vendors or trading with other players or looting. Certain upgrades come with special cosmetic effects.

Upgrade components can be inserted into equipment that has a slot for them. The item must have been at least upgraded to the blue level in order for the component to be used. In contrast to other mods components can only be used once; they cannot be applied multiple times or replaced with new upgrades. Infusions and enrichments are a specific kind of upgrade component used for non-amulet ascended and legendary equipment and some of the items that are not ascending back. Infusions and enrichments can be obtained by salvaging equipment that is ascended or completing a mission in the Prophecies, Factions, and Nightfall campaigns.

A suffix or prefix can be added to an upgrade, which alters the name of the item it's applied to (for example 'Canthan Armor Insignia,' is changed to Canthan Armor Minor Vigor). Certain upgrades boost the Mark Rarity or Level of an item, allowing players to create stronger versions using less Upgrade crystals than they would require to reach the same level with normal methods.

A boost upgrade is a way to alter the defense or attack properties of a weapon, or armor. Once the player has completed the cutscene and defeated the Crazed Mechanist, these upgrades can be crafted at the Portative Forging Station. They can be dropped by enemies when upgrading other gear or purchasing them from the cash store for 500 upgrade crystals.

The player can have the maximum of five boost upgrades at a time. Each upgrade increases the likelihood that a higher-tier version of the item will be available at the time of the next reset. This gives the player some incentive to continue upgrading their gear even if they're not sure of the extent to which it will improve following a subsequent reset.

Whether a boost upgrade is successful or not, the process could be costly and there is a substantial risk that the item may become obsolete or even break when it fails; a unsuccessful upgrade could destroy Upgrade Crystals and Assist Powder as well as the upgraded item. Cash shop items can be used to minimize or eliminate the chance of failure. Some upgrades also offer a bonus if they are reinserted.

Glyphs

Glyphs are upgrade elements which can be put in special sockets on the Paragon Board. Glyphs increase the power of nodes within a radius, and include any pre-existing attaches. Glyphs can be upgraded in numerous ways. We suggest upgrading them as soon as possible to level 15.

It is commonplace to see in the final game that placing Glyphs is a great method to upgrade your gear. They are the only upgrade components that can be upgraded directly to level 15 and offer significant boosts to your power and radius on the Paragon Board, enabling you to climb higher nodes more quickly.

Most of the upgrades in the game can be replaced, but Glyphs are the only upgrade component that can be removed and re-placed without restriction. Only legendary equipment can be salvaged and rebuilt by using the help of a Black Lion Salvage Kit.

Each Glyph has a particular range of values that it can improve a stat by. The value is displayed when you choose the Glyph in your inventory. You can decide to replace it with a Glyph with the same rank or higher rank, which will boost the overall value of the Glyph.

You can find Glyphs in the Black Lion Trading Post, as part of the Gem Store purchase or bundle with certain gathering tools that are unlimited-use and also through Faction Crypt raids. Every Faction Crypt could drop one of these Glyphs. There are some rare glyphs you can find in any of the Faction Crypts.

Once you have gotten the desired Glyphs you'll need them to be placed on your equipment. Each Glyph unlocks a bonus that will boost a specific set of stat nodes within a radius around the Glyph. Depending on the Glyph the bonus will be +40 to one of your primary stats, or +25 to two of your secondary stats.

Glyphs will boost all nodes connected to them, so it is Best item upgrade to place Glyphs in key locations on the Graph. This will increase the impact. For example that a Druid should try to position their Glyphs close to their primary damage nodes, however, you may also want to be sure to place them near the most critical damage nodes as well.

Leveling

The upgrade system for items allows players to increase the stats of specific items by introducing upgraded components. This is known as "upping". Each upgradeable item has a level which determines the final stats. Upgraded items can be upgraded up to a maximum level of 385. Each level requires a different amount of components to reach, and the upgrade costs increase as the item gets leveled up.

Certain upgrades require a certain ingredient to activate. This ingredient can be obtained by completing Upgrade Recipes. These recipes are available in the upgrade tab of a crafting table or bought from NPCs. Each completed Upgrade Recipe yields some Technology Points. These points can be used to upgrade the item, and when enough points are earned, the upgrade will be claimed and any additional bonuses will be added to the item.

When an individual player upgrade the equipment they have, the base item will be replaced with a new item. The same armor will be upgraded to a weapon or a shield when upgraded. The new item also has its own set bonus. This could be a problem because it can cause the item to become more expensive if you do not require it.

Item upgrades can sometimes be rerolled, if the player has enough tokens in order to do this. This causes the item to be exchanged for a new one, with the level 1 base, and a totally different set of extra bonuses. This is useful for some items, but it's not something that should be done regularly, as it can use up lots of resources.

Some upgrades can be rerolled multiple times which increases their value and allows the player to modify their equipment. An excellent example is Dolphin's Gift, which gives an increase in power when a player repeatedly enters and leaves the water (or is able to swim like dolphins). The item can be upgraded multiple times, increasing the maximum roll each time by 10 increments. This item can be very useful in PvP battles, since an item upgrade that is properly rolled it could be worth between 20 and 50x its non-upp'd value.

Requirements

The item upgrader allows players to increase the level of their equippable equipment (armor weapons, armor trinkets, and armor) above ilvl 385 by providing the appropriate currency to the NPC. The upgrade of armor set pieces will also increase the base defense of the item, and upgrading weapon equipment will increase the damage base and required strength and dexterity to meet the upgraded equipment's requirements.

All items can be upgraded up to five times, with the exception of hero gear that can have eight upgrades. Every each time you upgrade an item, it has an opportunity to fail. The failure rate increases the farther you go beyond the maximum number of upgrades. Failures will cause the item to return to its initial state, which requires the player to purchase more items than if they stopped upgrading after the maximum amount.

If an item isn't upgraded, the experience bar in the bar for growth will be reset to zero. The item will also lose any bonuses it earned like crit chance damage to attack, additional effects (such as an increase in healing over time, or reloading speed). However, the user can continue to use the weapon or armor after the failure.

When an item is upgraded, the upgrades are applied from lowest to highest. This means that if a weapon receives a crit chance boost it will be applied before any attack damage increases. A new attribute called Slots is now added to the item's definition and the value is recomputed each time an upgrade is made.

The amount of resources needed to upgrade an item are based on its rarity rating and the number of upgrade slots. The cost of upgrading non-premium equipment is equal to its value. For instance an item that is commonplace could have five upgrades at a cost of. 25600 Technology Points 4x Quality Improvement Opportunity. Hero quality items are less expensive per upgrade.

Premium items may have different upgrade requirements than regular gear. For instance, they may need less sowels, however they may require more minerals and orons. Players will still have to take every piece of gear they wish to upgrade to NPC [ArmorBoboko. Boboko located in Central Flarine. In addition to the upgrade costs listed above, each equipment upgrade will require an individual amount of ingredients for upgrading.
