Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combos

Robot vacuums and mops have become more efficient, passing our cleaning tests and tackling a variety of floor types. Choose models that allow users to select between different types, including self-emptying and clean stairs.

Many of the best automatic vacuum models are compatible with smartphones. Look for an app that allows you to save maps, create schedules and select cleaning modes.

1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro

Eufy's gunmetal and gloss black Omni S1 Pro is one of the most impressive robot vacuums and mop combinations on the market. It uses lidar to navigate, create maps of rooms and floors (even multiple levels), and works with the free Eufy Clean app that lets you set schedules and alter the S1's behaviour.

The S1 was able to map my downstairs quickly, which comprises flooring in the kitchen, dining area and bathrooms and a large rugs and a medium-pile. It was able to drive close to walls without crashing into them, and was able to traverse raised room thresholds with no problem, although it sometimes struggled to get down the stairs in one step. The S1 also did a fantastic job of cleaning hard floors, with its mop driving smoothly on the flat side against the floor, and then lifting its own weight when it reaches carpet or carpet.

The docking station of the S1 automatically emptys its trash bin and replenishes its water tank onboard with clean, ozonated water before every mopping session. The dock also adds a cleaning solution to the water for deep cleaning. The S1 water tank can be able to accommodate 12 mopping sessions, however this will vary depending on the frequency you use the mop.

The S1 requires periodic maintenance, just like all 2-in-1 robots. You'll need to wash out the dirty tank to prevent it from becoming blocked. Also, you'll need to clean the swivel wheel and sensors regularly to keep them from getting clogged by dirt or dust. However, overall, the S1 is simple to maintain, particularly compared to other combos that require more hands-on maintenance.

2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete

The Deebot X2 Combo Complete is an excellent vacuum cleaner. It has a strong suction that is able to effortlessly remove dirt and other debris that other robots have trouble with. Its navigation abilities are also quite good, though it could get stuck on small area mats and rugs around my home (which you can alleviate by defining virtual boundaries in the app). Mopping capabilities are excellent, with a pair spinning mops which lift and scrub the floor instead of simply moving the pad across it. The mops are also cleaned using heated water and dried in the base station as needed. Mops are also refilled from the top of the base station as required.

3. Dreame X40 ultra

Dreame launched the luxurious X30 Ultra earlier this year however their latest flagship robot mop and vacuum has more impressive features. It offers outstanding cleaning results and hands-off maintenance making it a top contender on our top mop and robot vacuum list. Its superior mapping capabilities, RGB AI smart recognition, and an extended side brush guarantee a thorough, custom-designed clean.

The X40 Ultra vacuums well, it can remove both large and fine debris. It is equally effective on hard floors and carpets. It cleaned the dirtiest places of our tests with ease while avoiding pet hairs and other dirt. The sweeping capabilities are augmented by a side brush that automatically moves out to tackle difficult-to-reach corners, as well as an extended mop pad that deploys alongside baseboards.

Its navigation system is intelligent it can navigate tight spaces and negotiating stairs without missing a beat. It can move from one room to another without having to change direction. A robot vacuum can do a fantastic job of picking up debris and dirt, but it can't always be able to reach every piece of dust. It is important to clean frequently, every week. The Q5 is among the few robots we tested that didn't show any trouble with high-pile carpets and area rug, but it was unable to pick up cat litter or cable tangles that's not a surprise given that it doesn't have AI-powered obstacle avoidance.

5. K10 Plus

K10 Plus is one of the quietest robovacs we have tested, it also utilizes a unique system to map your home this will allow it to enter corners and tight spaces that other vacuums cannot reach. It also stores dust in a larger bin which means you have to empty it less often. Additionally, it has washable filters which further reduces the expenses associated with using the device.
