The i3+ EVO can be prevented from overfilling with a self-emptying bin. However it still needs to be manually empty at the end of each cleaning session. The i3+ EVO's inner dust bin holds 2.4L of trash that is more than enough to last several cleaning sessions before needing to replace it.

The i3+ EVO, just like the i7 uses state-ofthe-art floor-tracking sensors to produce maps. It also lets you navigate through neat rows. The i3+ EVO can only store one map, while the i7 is able to store multiple. The i7 is also able to make use of its map to create no-go zones and virtual barriers, but the i3+ EVO can't.

While the i3+ EVO is superior in removing surface debris than some of the other robovacs we reviewed but it's not the best when it comes to cleaning edges and corners. It's also a bit less gentle on furniture, despite being fairly quiet. It was quite rough on furniture, as it forced chairs away. It also made some collisions against the sides of the test bed.
