WoW Upgrades - The Item Upgrader

Upgrades can give you boosts in certain statistics. Each upgrade increases the item level by +3. A random extra substat is also added to each upgrade.

Upgraded gear is generally more useful, unless the Best item upgrade has a low requirement by nature (like FB sorc shields) or has a high variance in stats (like eth Titan weapons). Upgrades are not as valuable for the latter due to the need to roll an exact version.

Recycle Points

The item upgrades upgrader allows players to upgrade their gear to a higher level by providing the appropriate currency to the NPC. Upgrades can be applied to any type of weapon or armor. However, the item that is used for the upgrade will be consumed for the duration of time and cannot be used again. Upgrades can be applied to the enchantments.

The upgrader can be found in all major cities and is accessible anytime to upgrade your gear. It is recommended to visit the upgrader every few weeks, to keep your equipment up to date.

The cost of upgrades will be based on the current level of the gear being upgraded, but will always be less expensive than purchasing new equipment from other sources. Upgrades like upgrading a Benthic chest up to 385 ilvl will cost you 20 recycle points. A similar item will cost you 105.

Valorstones

Upgrades are useful items which can be used to upgrade weapons, tools, armor, and other items. They can be purchased by players through NPCs who sell upgrades to Best item upgrade owners for a variety of currencies. They can also find them in random treasure lists. Once purchased, an upgrade can be used on any weapon, tool or armor. button, which will show an image of the item at the next upgrade level if the player has sufficient materials.

The cost of upgrades varies based on the item slot and current Item Level Upgrade level, with weapons costing more than gloves or bracers for instance. Each upgrade costs 15 Flightstones plus a set number of crests. Certain upgrades provide a discount on the Flightstones. Once an item level upgrade has been upgraded to a certain degree, it can be degraded and sold back to the upgrader for a lesser amount of the two currency types.

Upgraders for items can be found in a variety of locations including the main island, as well as a few outposts. The NPCs provide both an upgrade discount and the chance to acquire a new upgrade recipe. The discount for upgrading increases as more items are upgraded. It can be increased by having players finish certain achievements or quests.

Icewind Dale does not have an upgrader for items at the start unlike Cromwell from Baldur's gate II. Instead the NPCs that are available to facilitate upgrades must be acquired through various methods which is both an improvement but also a drawback.

In Season 3, several new features have been added to the upgrade system. Once an upgrade has been completed to a certain level of item for an armor slot, upgrading other items to the same level, will cost less. This is regardless of whether the items come from an entirely different set of gear.

The amount of Valorstones needed for upgrades is reduced, and the discount is available across all accounts. The amount of Harbinger Crests required to upgrade is cut too, but it is only available after certain milestones are reached.

Crests

Players have a number of choices when it comes to upgrading their gear in WoW. Flightstones are an item that is available to everyone for upgrading. Crests are more specific and are utilized during specific item level upgrades. Crests are an integral part of the Dragonflight Gear Progression System that was introduced in version 10.1. They come in four ranks.

First, you must be aware that crests are only available for equipment that is with a certain rank. Each rank comes with an upgrade path that is different. The simplest and easiest upgrade is 15 crests. The most complex upgrade could require as much as 20 crests, based on the type or gear being upgraded.

Players can earn crests by working through content at the appropriate level. This could be by engaging in outdoor activities or completing dungeons and raids in any difficulty to earn equipment of lower tier or Mythicbosses of raids or dungeons with heroic difficulty for gear in the endgame. Crests can be exchanged at an upgrader NPC, such as Cuzolth in Dornogal or Vaskarn in Valdrakken, for the appropriate upgrade paths and steps.

The new currency system isn't complicated to use, but it does bring some changes to the upgrade process. When a piece has reached the highest level of upgrade for any rank (Explorer or Adventurer) it will no longer require Flightstones. This change is intended to allow players to upgrade their gear up to the highest ilvl possible on all their characters, instead of relying on seasonal loot.

Another significant modification is that crests have one usage, so it's important to use them wisely. It is Best item upgrader to use your Whelpling-rank crests on the highest-quality gear you can locate, and save Drake and Wyrm Crests for the next round of upgrades. This is particularly applicable to items like rings and trinkets that occupy several slots. The discount for the entire account will only be applicable if all slots on the character are filled with high-quality gear.
