The dust bin will automatically empty and return to the dock. You can set it to forget about it. You will only need to replenish the water tank or replace the dust bag occasionally.

All this is powered by a lithium-ion 5,200mAh battery. The S8 Pro Ultra ran on its standard mop and vac-settings for approximately 160 minutes before it started to lose power and returned to its base to recharge. This is not far off of the 180 minutes Roborock claims, and is on par with other hybrids I've tested.

This is a very well-rounded and capable product, with the only drawback being the fact that it's costly. But, the sheer number of features makes it a very appealing alternative for anyone who wishes to ditch their old stick vacuums and mops. If you can afford the cost, we highly recommend checking this one out.

2. Dreametech L10S Ultra

The Dreametech L10S Ultra is a top-of-the-line robot vacuum and mop combination. Its premium price tag is justified by its robust features, which include an impressive vacuuming capacity as well as two gyrating mop mops. In spite of the L10S Ultra's many premium features, it requires regular care and maintenance. To prevent the growth of mildew or unpleasant odors, the base station dustbag, water, and tanks need to be cleaned and emptied regularly. They also need to be dried. It is also important to note that the mop pads that are bought separately, will need to be replaced on a regular basis too.

With the L10S Ultra's pricey cost and robust features I would recommend it to anyone who has the funds for it. If you're on a budget I would suggest a less basic model that lets you to save money and enjoy hands-free cleaning in your home. The S1 Pro uses a unique mopping system that is a major departure from the microfibre pads and spinning discs of other robots. The roller covers the full width of the bot and is constantly filled with clean, ozonated water from its dock. When it turns, the roller scrubs your floors while soaking up dirt and any dry debris is removed by the side brushes or swept away into the front colision bumper. The S1 Pro removes the dirty mop water into its base station, where it is sucked in by the tank's heater elements and emptied into a larger storage container. The onboard tank can hold a good amount of water and can handle up to half a dozen mopping session before running out.

Like many robotic vacuums and mop sets like the S1 Pro is ready to take it out from the box. It does need to be filled with clean water, however this is simple to do by cleaning the dock. The mopping system itself is capable cleaning up a significant portion of a space before it needs to return to its dock and the vacuum's powerful suction is capable of removing debris and pet hair from carpets.

The application that runs the appliance is complex, and offers many options for customizing the cleaning process. You can set it up manually to start a full map and clear everything that's been mapped by the device, or you can choose specific rooms, expandable zones or even a routine that you've created. There are several mopping options, including SmartPlan -- an algorithm that utilizes the sensors of the mops to determine the most efficient way to clean your home while it maps the area.

The Qrevo was a great performer in our tests, just like the other Roborock models we've tested. Its navigation system works well in locating rooms quickly and cleaning in a neat manner. The 'Normal" pathing setting covers a room well, without any major gaps or missed areas. Reactive Tech's hazard avoidance works well too, but it's not as advanced as the color camera systems on the Qrevo Master and the S8 Pro Ultra. It can identify hazards such as thick carpets but it might not always recognize smaller things like rug tassels, or electrical wires.

One of the biggest flaws of this machine is the lack of a mop after vacuum option which could be an issue for those who are frequently vacuuming before cleaning with their robot. Fortunately, there's a simple workaround: the app includes an option to "clean up" at the end of each session. This allows you to use the mopping feature of the vacuum to remove the last traces of dust and debris that you've left behind from your vacuuming. This is a nice feature that helps this robot to clean up a bit better than its competitors with lower prices.
