World of Warcraft Upgrades and Item Upgrading

Upgrades can boost the value of certain numeric stats on armor, weapons and rings. Upgrades can also boost bonuses like Crit chance and PvE Damage.

If the template for upgrading a weapon ends in %, it will increase an additional 3% of the previous damage for each time it is upgraded.

Item upgrading costs crests and the item's current level. The cost increases with the item's level.

Components

Upgrade components are items that can be put into weapons, armor, and trinkets to give a stat bonus or extra effect while they're in use. They can be acquired through crafting, purchasing from vendors, trading or looting. Some upgrades also have specific cosmetic effects.

Upgrade components can be inserted into equipment that has a slot for them. The item must be at least upgraded to the blue level to allow a component to be inserted. Unlike other mods, upgrade components can only be used once; they cannot be applied repeatedly or replaced with new upgrades. Infusions and enrichments are a particular kind of upgrade component that is used for non-amulet ascended and legendary equipment as well as the non-ascended back items. Infusions and enrichments can be recovered by salvaging ascended gear or completing an elite mission in the Prophecies, Factions and Nightfall campaigns.

A suffix or prefix can be added to an upgrade, which alters the name of the item it's applied to (for instance, 'Canthan Armor Insignia',' changes to Canthan Armor Minor Vigor). Some upgrades increase the Mark Level or Rarity of an item, which lets players create stronger versions with less Upgrade crystals than they require to achieve the same level using standard methods.

A 'boost' upgrade can change the attack or defence characteristics of an armored weapon or. Glyphs

Glyphs can be used to improve the Paragon Board by placing them in sockets with special functions. Glyphs can boost the performance of nodes within a radius, which includes any pre-existing affixes. Glyphs can be upgraded in many ways, and we suggest getting them up to level 15 whenever you can.

In the final game you'll often discover that the most effective way to upgrade your gear is by placing Glyphs. Each level of an item requires different components, and upgrade item costs increase with each level.

Some upgrades require a special ingredient to activate. This ingredient can be obtained by completing Upgrade Recipes. These recipes can be found in the upgrade tab of a crafting table or obtained from NPCs. Each Upgrade Recipe completed will result in a certain amount of Technology points. These points can be used to upgrade the item, and once enough points have been earned, the upgrade will be claimed and its additional bonuses will be added to the item.

When the player upgrades an item the original item will be replaced by the new item. The same armor can be transformed into the form of a weapon or shield when upgraded. The new item will also have a unique bonus. This could be a drawback, as it can cause the item to become more expensive if you do not need it.

Item upgrades can sometimes be rerolled, provided that the player has enough reroll tokens in order to do this. The item will be replaced with the same item, but it is based on a level 1 base and totally different bonuses. This can be beneficial however it should not be used frequently as it can waste resources.

Some upgrades can be rerolled several times, increasing their value and giving players the ability to alter their equipment. A good example of this is Dolphin's Gift, which gives an advantage when a player repeatedly enters and leaves the water (or swims like a dolphin). This can be upgraded several times, each time increasing the maximum roll by 10 points. This item is very important in PvP. A properly rolled version can be worth 50 times the value of the non-upgraded version.

Requirements

Item upgrading allows players to increase the level of their equippable equipment--armor, weapons, and trinkets over ilvl 385 by presenting the appropriate items and currency to an NPC who upgrades items. Upgrades to armor set pieces also increase the defense base of the piece, whereas upgrading weapon equipment will increase the base damage as well as the required strength and dexterity to match the requirements of the upgraded equipment.

All items can be upgraded up to five times, with the exception for hero gear, which can be upgraded eight times. Every time you upgrade an item it has a chance to fail--the rate of failure increases as you go over the maximum amount of upgrades. Failures will result in the item returning to its original state, which requires the player to pay for more items than if they stopped upgrading after the maximum number.

If an item is not able to upgrade, the amount of accumulated experience in its growth bar is reset to zero. The item also loses any bonuses it has gained, such as crit chance damage to attack, other effects (such as increased heal over time or reloading speed). The player will be able to use their weapon or armor after the failure.

If an item upgrader mod is upgraded, the upgrades are applied from lowest to highest. This means that if a weapon gains an increase in crit chance it will be applied before any increase in attack damage. A new attribute called Slots is now added to the item definition and the value is computed each time an upgrade is applied.

The amount of resources needed to upgrade an item is based on its rarity rating and the number of upgrade slots. The cost of upgrading non-premium equipment is equivalent to its value. For example an item that is commonplace could have five upgrades at a cost of. 25,600 Technology Points and a 4x Quality Improvement Chance. Hero grade items will come with an incredibly lower cost for each upgrade.

Premium items have different upgrade item requirements than standard gear--for instance, they may require fewer sowels but more minerals and erons. Regardless, the player will need to visit the NPC [ArmorBoboko in Central Flarine. Boboko in Central Flarine with each piece of equipment they want to upgrade. In addition to the upgrade costs mentioned above, each equipment upgrade will require the use of different ingredients needed to upgrade.
