For instance, the Q5's navigation system doesn't include AI-powered obstacle avoidance and is therefore prone to become entangled in shoes and socks, and is unable to navigate tightly packed rooms very efficiently in our tests. Also, it doesn't have an image sensor that lets it see the corners of an area.

The newest model from iRobot is among the most intelligent and has advanced features like enhanced dirt detection technology and future compatibility with Matter (another company's robot vacuum cleaners best that is able to wash mop pads).

It's the only robotic mop or vacuum that scored a perfect 10 in our tests, thanks to a combination of high-tech sensors, which include cameras, a structured light system, and multiple lasers.
