3. IRobot Roomba X40

The robot vacuum and mop combination has a sleek, circular design that appears more like the regular Roomba model than the boxy models of the competition. It's one of our most attractive robot vacuums. The latest model from iRobot happens to be its smartest and has advanced features like Enhanced Dirt Detection Technology as well as future compatibility with Matter (another company's robot that can wash its own mop pads).

It's also the sole robot vacuum/mop to score a perfect 10 out of 10 in our testing. This is due to a combination modern sensors, including a restructured light system, camera, and a variety of lasers. It can be used to design cleaning schedules or to create the spot-cleaning. You can also use it to prioritize your dirtiest areas for better performance.
