Based on my experience, the Combo is a fantastic choice for most homes and its sleek design is easily one of the best in the industry. The sleek, matte black plastic looks better than most competitors' glossy or metallic finishes, and iRobot's little features--like a leather tab that can open the onboard bin and a shelf in the dock to store extra bags--are more classy than a lot of its rivals'. The iRobot Combo also allows you to easily create maps of your home, and to create Keep-Out Zones, No-Mop Zones, and Clean Zones.

While Roborock is comparatively new to the robot vacuum and mop market but it's already established a name for itself because of its innovative cleaning techniques. Its vacuums boast industry-leading suction power, and mopping systems from the company feature vibrating mops that scrub floors clean. You can also customize the cleaning process of the bot using a variety and mapping options.

Another impressive Roborock feature is the obstacle avoidance that allows the robot vacuum cleaner best to see objects lower than its height. This is particularly useful for Roborock's top models, like the Qrevo Master. It is the top of its kind when it comes to navigation, thanks to both vSLAM and LiDAR. Other robovacs have been known to run over pet faeces and slam furniture without noticing. It's a bit smaller than its competitors and its main brush is a bit shorter however, it did an impressive job in our test room. The revolving brush on the side for edges is a nice addition and, while it couldn't remove dirt from our rugs and was not as effective as some of the competitors but it did a decent job overall.
